A well researched and eye opening book on hormonal weight gain. I was amazed at how much I have learnt on the bodily processes that take place inside of us and how stress affects our hormonal balance as women. The author also offers practical strategies on how to effectively manage these issues on daily basis, after diving deeply into signs, symptoms and reasons for the way hormones might affect us.

So many tools in this book to help you along your journey to wellness. If you want to understand the body’s hormones and everything that is going on this is a fantastic resource. You will definitely come away with a better understanding of weight management, your body and all the things to consider in creating your own personalized plan. Great suggestions and easy to listen to. Very well researched and covers the science in an easy to understand manner. Five stars from me.

3 hours and 30 minutes of useful information which was discussed in laymens terms so anyone with any level of understanding could easily digest what was being talked about. Everyone knows how big a role hormones can play in your overall quality of life but actually understanding them and how to optimize them is a different story. Ella Renee has done a brilliant job here of putting the pieces together which I'm sure will help many people out there. Even the little things that most would simply think they don't work such as vitamin intake can play a really important role. Everything was backed up with evidence which was nice to see, overall absolutely brilliant listen, highly recommend.

This book provides lots of useful and well-researched information about how hormones affect a woman's ability to lose weight. Before reading this, I hadn't considered much more than calorie intake and burn as weight loss factors. I've started to implement some of the tips in this books and am excited to (hopefully) see some great results. I also appreciate the health cleanse guides that make it easy to start losing weight with a clean slate. I definitely recommend this book to anyone wanting to how to work with their body's unique make-up to lose weight.

So many women feel that nothing they try can help them lose weight.
The concept of the importance of hormones in managing one's weight is complicated, and most people do not have a grasp of anatomy and physiology. I bet most people would be unable to tell you two complete sentences about their endocrine system.
Lucky for us, Ella Renee provides a primer about how to lose weight by understanding our hormones and metabolism. She examines each hormone, explaining how abnormalities can impact one's weight and perpetuate obesity.

It is difficult to explain such a complicated set of bodily functions in clear and accessible language. However, the author writes clearly to give you information about the hormones that control hunger in the fat, the gut, and the brain.

You will find some specific "how to" approaches to cleanse your body and begin to achieve hormonal balance.

If you don't understand how your hormones work in your body, you have not heard or tried everything to lose unwanted pounds. Learning about them is essential, and this book is an excellent introduction.
