I have no idea about the DBT. This book is worth reading. I have learnt so much about DBT and all the resources are out there for people who are going through all the mental disorders mentioned in the book and feeling all alone not knowing all the help they have out there. This author Nurse Darling has done an excellent work on this book giving out all the information and guidance. She also provided free book, phone numbers of helpline and pdf copy.
Nurse Darling went above and beyond to share her knowledge and experience in hope to help as many people as can. Thank you I really appreciate all you have done and doing. God bless you.

This book is one of the most informative and useful self-help books out there!

The techniques used are brilliant helping eliminate negativity from your mind. I feel more in control of my life since listening to this. I am creating better positive habits and getting rid of the old negative habits.

What I especially loved about this book were the exercises that I easily applied to my daily life. I am more capable of handling stressful situations in a calm manner and better at regulating my emotions.

I highly recommend this book to everyone dealing with mental health issues or anyone who is close to someone struggling mentally; you will find peace within this book.

Since Marsha Linehan developed DBT, this form of CBT has influenced thousands of people across the world. This new book is the latest addition in a long line of books that help people acquire therapeutic benefits that can be life changing. And this audiobook does it extremely well. It gives us proven DBT techniques that help increase awareness, relationship effectiveness, mindfulness, etc. It helps us identify, comprehend, and accept our emotions. Best of all, it helps us find serenity. I loved this book and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all.

What Perfect Timing

The title of this book caught my eye because I had never heard of Dialectic Behavior Therapy. But I really appreciated the timing of what I heard.

For example, I learned about "Distress Tolerance" which is my ability to tolerate and respond to sustained and chronic negative stress. The author mentions that this type of stress (as opposed to healthy physical stress from exercise) can affect my immunological response. (I am just getting over cancer, so learning about this helps me return to the safety of only managing the things in my control).

While I have sorted through many things from my past, there is always more to unpack. This book is well-researched, highly-detailed, and super helpful for anyone willing to do the work. Easy to recommend.

Relationships can be complicated. Co-dependency or too much control by a partner can ruin a partnership. Loving someone unconditionally and accepting their flaws is really how to be successful and this book has all the guidance necessary to get you back to being in the zone of a happy relationship. It's well narrated and had a lot of information in it, it's a long listen but well worth the time.
