How to Lose Weight Safely
What did you like most about Lose Weight?
I most enjoyed the fact that the author gave clear advice and example for how to lose the weight both effectively and safely. There was no false bravado of losing this amount by this date, it was just simple tips to make small changes to your lifestyle and mindset in order to achieve the goal.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Lose Weight?
For me, I most enjoyed the section in which McCloud talked about motivation as this is something I have struggled with. There were some really interesting tidbits of advice and it broke down clearly, just how important motivation can be and how to maintain it.
What does Joshua Mackey bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
The narrator was excellent as usual. Mackey did a great job or being engaging throughout the book.
Any additional comments?
I would recommend this for anyone who struggles with motivation when losing weight or is looking to drop a few pounds. There are many points in this book that struck me as being important and I feel it is a very useful tool to have going forward as I try to lose weight.

Lose weight the healthy way
A friend recommended this audio-book to me and I am really glad she did! I enjoyed learning about the pitfalls of modern diets, and the main aspects of what makes up a healthy lifestyle. The format of the book is easy to follow because it takes you through the basics of healthy living step by step, before showing you how to create your own personal diet and exercise plans - I found this very helpful because it's much easier to stick to a plan you've made than try to adapt your life to often tasteless diet recipes and unrealistic exercise regimes.
I would recommend this audio-book to anyone looking to get started on their weight loss journey easily and healthily - from tips on getting started to snack ideas and exercise routines, it's packed full of helpful advice.

Motivating and powerful.
I am well over half way through my own weight loss journey and always looking for something to increase my motivation, which naturally wanes over time. Knowing that Ace's books are packed with information and insight, as well as being highly motivational, I was excited to come across Lose Weight. It didn't disappoint!
Lose Weight covers all aspects of weight loss from eating habits to exercise, and boosting metabolism to staying on task. There's so much written on this subject, but listening to Joshua's exuberant presentation of Lose Weight felt fresh and interesting. There were lots of little nuggets such as how much difference multiple small meals can make to weight loss - I have heard this before, but the way it was presented in Lose Weight made me determine to give it a go.
Lose Weight includes a detailed diet plan and suggestions for individual exercises that can help promote weight loss. It also gives a fresh perspective on old favourites like walking for fitness. Definitely a useful overview of the process of weight loss, with the emphasis on changing our attitude away from "being on a diet" and towards developing habits for lifelong health and well-being. This is a great self-help guide, presented in a lively and interesting manner.

How to Eat Right for Life
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I have been battling with weight issues since my early teens. While most people wouldn't cry at this book (it's a how-to, not a story), I most certainly did. The simplicity at which Mr. McCloud describes the small things that lead to big differences really hit home. 'Why haven't I been doing these sooner?' I asked myself. In just the few short days after listening to this book, my outlook on weight loss and eating lifestyle has shifted. I can't wait to see what the future holds.

Advice for losing weight that really works
What did you like most about Lose Weight?
There are as many guides to weight loss as stars in the sky, but the difference with this one is that I felt as if it was really working. The advice was set out so clearly and it was so easy to understand, I am sure anyone else would have a positive experience
What about Joshua Mackey’s performance did you like?
The narrator was super engaging and I found the whole audiobook very easy to listen to.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
The most important element of this book was that I am sure it is not only a quick and easy way to lose weight, but also a healthy way to do it. At no stage did I worry that I was harming my health by starving myself.
Any additional comments?
This audiobook is great for listening to in the car to give you those extra reminders as a motivation through the day to keep your healthy diet always on course.
