I am Kirsten and I had acid reflux until I was 27 and really wanted to spend my time with friends, colleagues, and, more than that, my partner....

  • I always woke up with a strong heartburn and tremendous reflux, like I could not catch my breath.
  • When I laid down, I started feeling a burning pain around my lower chest, and suddenly my mouth got such a bad smell.
  • I was avoiding all social interaction as much as I could.
  • I almost never went out with my friends and colleagues, not even for a beer.

I was really afraid of this all the time.

  • I was afraid to be the only one who could not talk normally with people.
  • I was afraid I could not have a normal relationship and stay close to my partner.
  • I was feeling really vulnerable, and, more than that, I was scared someone could notice.
  • I went through all of this.... I made hundreds of mistakes trying to fix it until I decided to change my eating habits and use a specific diet that changed everything. I did it in 17 days, and now:

  • I wake up feeling refreshed and energetic.
  • No more heartburn after eating or in the morning.
  • I can approach my partner without fear of destroying nice moments between us.
  • I stopped being afraid of getting close to people in everyday life.
  • I feel more confident, and I can freely talk with my colleagues face to face or in teams.

    The point is I do not want you to waste your time like I did, so I created this book.

    Very informative book..

    Very informative book... I am on half my PPI medication now and trying to get off the rest of it. It's a long process trying to figure out what triggers acid reflux. She is very informative, has the medical background to back it up and speaks in a direct manner. I REALLY find this book helpful for me in order to heal myself.

    Highly recommend.

    I was looking for a book that teaches how to go forward with eating a healthy group of foods since I've been diagnosed with LPR. Learning about LPR witch is a silent form of Gerd has been a challenge. There are many different articles and books. I did my research and I made the right decision. This book will teach you how to take control of LPR and start eating the right foods, proportion size and what foods to avoid. Awesome Book. Highly recommend.

    Very informative.

    A good reference guide, diet plan, and recipes those suffering from heartburn and acid reflux. Breaks down the basics about digestion and offers nutritional therapy. Traditional treatment is often a prescription, but they don’t solve the root of the problem and long-term use of those prescriptions may lead to other side effects. The book is broken down into two parts Healing and Recipes.

    A Very Informative book

    This guide has aimed to provide you with some helpful information about how to tackle acid reflux, heartburn, and GERD/GORD and to explain some of the practical things you can do for yourself as well as the different kinds of medical treatments that are available to you. It may be that changing your diet, eating healthily, and making a few simple lifestyle changes are enough to stop your acid reflux attacks for good.

    Interesting

    The book contains a good description of what cause the problem and a lot of medical details to help you understand what is happening, what to do, and what to avoid. It then moves forward and talks about the food itself including the different food types and how they influence your condition. Then comes what most of us care about; food. Good meal plans easy to follow if you have cooking experience. If you are not, don't sweat it the end is full of great recipes with easy to follow instructions

    I think this book is very informative and also helpful. I have been searching for something exactly like this book that could offer me all the details and info I required about the acid reflux cure.     Amazing book

    I love this book. It provides a total body approach to managing and healing acid reflux disease and its symptoms. It provides information on foods that cause, foods to avoid, foods that help, foods that heal, when to drink water, and how to treat an attack for immediate relief as well as how to prevent attacks.

    Healing Acid Reflux

    In many cases, doctors recommend specific diets to Theo patients but may not give them any further information or guidance. Needing to change your diet may seem like a daunting task. This book appears to be a great resource for people who are experiencing acid reflux. It is important to advise with your physician before making major changes to your diet, especially if you are taking medications.

    Interesting

    These recipes were delish and easy. I also truly appreciate that the author is a Registered Dietician Nutritionist. There are so many nutrition “gurus” out there that don’t have the extensive training and expertise that an RDN has. Kirsten Yang's knowledge of nutrition and the unique challenges of Acid Reflux are evident throughout this easy to read book with easy to manage but tasty recipes.
