Life changing

I stayed on the plan and kept losing weight, which became easier as my brain got rewired and didn't crave sugar anymore. It's amazing what happens when you know how to target the one darn thing making you fat.

Behind in the latest food information.

I'm sure there are some good points in this book, but it doesn't reflect the latest information against low fat, and some other diet discoveries. Needs to be revised.

I thought this book had a lot of amazing recipes in it. I wouldn't say this would be a book for beginners though. A lot of the recipes call for many ingredients. I think that's common for healthier recipes though, so that didn't bother me. I'm use to cooking meals with lots of ingredients, so I loved this book. The fact that it was for healthier meals is great because I love cooking health

handy guide

Nice book -- recipes are mostly using foods easily found. Have not had too much time to experiment, as I've only had it a short while, but I do cook a lot and can tell if a recipe is going to work out, so am looking forward to integrating some of these recipes into our meals. Having a cookbook for two people is also helpful; sometimes, if it's just the two of us, this would be a great alternative to leftovers and/or going out too often.

I was a little skeptical at first. I thought that the food might taste bland, but I was wrong.The recipes were easy to follow and the food was out of this world.My husband and I really enjoyed each meal. Being healthy is very important to me. This cookbook has been very helpful with keeping me the path to a healthy lifestyle

i love this book

I love this book - easy instructions, , daily meal planner. I cooked a couple items so far and my husband called me "A Good Cook". So heart healthy can still be tasty! Even for those that typically like French fries and hamburgers :) The work involved in creating and cooking is easy enough for even me. I feel better too! Great cookbook - love that it has a monthly meal selection in it and the interesting tidbits was a bonus.

health and time efficient

Great, heart healthy recipes with lots of nutritional value. Low on the foods that your doctor would suggest staying away from if you have been diagnosed with heart disease. Easy to understand instructions. Meal prep times are reasonable

its worthy

I bought this cookbook after my husband had a cardiac procedure, and have been using it for about three weeks. I have prepared five or six recipes and they have all been fantastic. The recipes are not only tasty and healthy, they are also quick and easy. My husband, who is not an experienced cook, is even able to prepare them. There is also a lot of useful information at the front of the book. All told, I am very happy with this cookbook!

highly recommended

In the first book you learn how to diet successfully, in the second book you will find many healthy gluten free recipes, and the third book is about preventing acid reflux. Eating no sugar to get rid of body fat is discussed in the fourth, and herbs, herbal medicine and how to apply it in your life towards living healthier, is discussed in the fifth.
