The IPCC would disagree
I read this book a couple of years ago after having listened to Leanne's podcast for a while. I like her genuine and relaxed personality. The meat-eating keto diet is something that resonates really well with me and is something that I naturally do when not thinking about my eating, so obviously I agree with most of what is being said. I now started it anew.
This book is quite difficult to listen to. I like the fact she reads it herself, because it would be funny to listen to someone else being a listener of her pod. I so love when authors narrate their own books, but sadly very few of them can actually do it well. Narrating an audio book is a skill. Having a podcast does not necessarily give you that skill. Giving lecture does not give you that skill. The text is just speed-read without any consideration for punctuation (yes, they all have a different purpose!), the puns and witty bits get lost in the monotone flow, and even though Leanne's voice is bright and positive as always, the pace is just too fast.
Being in the climate crisis that we are and having now heard we haven't done enough I would like to see a review of this book with a take on, say, bacon-battered chicken, What may be great for our bodies is killing our planet. I realise the amounts of food to eat on a healthy diet are not like "a pig a day keeps the doctor away", but if we should get down to max 50 kg per year for meat products, this lifestyle is simply not sustainable anymore.
All the love to Leanne, you have a good heart, a great brain and are very inspiring none the less!

Absolutely brilliant and helpful!
Would you listen to Fat Fueled: Complete Program & Meal Plan again? Why?
This book has been really helpful to me- a person who's struggled with weight, hormone balance, thyroid etc. Leanne Vogel is highly knowledgeable and an expert in her field. Her approach is so down to earth, warm and empathetic, and her personal expression is funny and bright. She knows what she's talking about- this book is filled with quality content and well laid-out information on how to improve your overall wellbeing.
What other book might you compare Fat Fueled: Complete Program & Meal Plan to and why?
The great thing about this book is that is written by a woman, to women (as a target audience). I haven't come across to other books that use this approach.
Which character – as performed by Leanne Vogel – was your favorite?
I really enjoy Leanne's style and personality- she's warm, funny and intelligent in her approach. She's like your best friend who always gives you the best advice and knows what to say.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Definitely made me laugh! Overall I really enjoyed the book so much I also purchased the written version. The biggest reaction has been really insightful revelations of information Leanne's shared.

My personal thanks to Leanne for doing such important work and sharing her wisdom! I've kind of become addicted to her podcasts and youtube-videos- I'm hungry to learn more and love the way Leanne presents things. THANK YOU and keep up the good work!

Very introductory and should be called "No Rules Keto"
I should start by saying that I really appreciate Leanne Vogel. She puts so much valuable content out there for those of us exploring keto living. But I was expecting more specifics and structured guidance in this book, since she also has a shorter intro book out "The Keto Beginning". But "Fat Fueled" really seemed to promote a no rules and intuitive eating lifestyle, rather than specific guidelines to successfully follow a keto diet. These are valuable concepts, but the title should be changed. And the frequency and amount of carbs outlined in some of the protocols in her book are really more defined as generally "low carb" living. It would be difficult for most to stay / live in keto under those models.

Very concise and informative
I love this book and its counterpart, The Keto Beginning. The Keto Beginning helped me get a solid start to my new, whole foods keto lifestyle, which has been life changing. It has helped reduce my depression, anxiety, brain fog, skin rashes, and most importantly...digestive issues. Fat Fueled takes everything a step further and really delves into how the body works and the different ways to help heal the body while being keto adapted and losing weight (if that's your goal). She explains everything so thoroughly in an easy to understand format. I kept a pen and paper handy so I could jot down important information as she covered it. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is suffering from health issues, as this just might be the thing that you need to make your body feel good again. I am so glad I learned about this set of books, and can't wait to start incorporating these concepts into my keto adapted lifestyle.

Eternally Grateful
Somehow this is just what I've been looking for, for YEARS!!! Been striving for optimal health for so long, but hitting large speed bumps more like obstacles. Knowing all the things is not the same as having them synergize. Leanne has come to save the day, in a brilliant way.
