Ruthlessly Delicious!

Oh does Ana know how to give me a good deliciously grumpy man, Dante is another I can add to my roster. After the sneak peek in Christian’s book, I was definitely interested to know more about Dante Russo. The moments where I got to see the heart behind the wrath: swoon! He said the dirtiest and sweetest words that just left my heart racing double. I loved seeing the growth both he and Vivian had from the beginning to who we saw at the end especially with Vivian speaking her mind and standing her ground.
Jacob Morgan, my gawd, his performance in this audio left me a panting hot mess. This was my first by Emily Woo Zeller and I must say she did fantastic. These two were the perfect Dante and Vivian!

I fell in love with Ana's writing already in the 1st book in the Twisted series, when I found out that there's a book about Dante I was thrilled! And marked it as my next book I must read.

If I thought I fell in love with the men from Twisted, my heart is already in the hands of the men from the Kings Of Sin series.

Vivian's family does have a very respectable status, but still in a world where money talks, they are considered "new money".
Conversely, men who come from families like Dante are considered "old money".
Dante finds himself at a crossroads where he is forced to make a choice he never thought he would ever make - he is forced into an arranged marriage with Vivian.

This grumpy man opens his home to the woman whome "Sunshine" doesn't even begin to describe the sweet charm that she is.
And as much as she's beautiful, intelligent, funny, with a backbone made of steel plus a sassy mouth, he puts an iron wall in front of her because she is the enemy's daughter and he's just playing the game until he manages to get out of the trouble he's been dragged into.
Than what will happen when she sets herself the goal of breaking down the walls and finds the way to his frozen heart? What will happen when Vivian discovers the truth?

So many magical, sweet, funny and heartwarming moments 🥹
Seriously, you know that feeling when you press the book to your heart, sighing and turn into a puddle because it's adorable? So double it, triple it and multiply it to infinitely.
Because my heart is addicted to Ana's writing, to her amazing and inspiring h & her moral gray H who know how to steal my heart in one fell swoop.

Can't wait until the book about Kai comes out and I'll fall in love with it too (I have a really good feeling about him, because from the little glimpses I've seen of this book he sounds like another book boyfriend 🥰)

Ana, my heart belongs to you, now please find me a man like him so I can announce in a room full of people that he is mine❤️

Enemies to Lovers! ❤️‍🔥

I absolutely devoured this story! I loved the dynamic between these two and all of the outside factors. How they had such a push pull, hate to love. Their chemistry was of the charts.
I loved that once they opened up they worked through their problems & took them seriously.

Loved the duet narration!

This was my first duet audiobook and I have to say it was perfection! I loved having Jacob Morgan read all the male parts and Emily Woo Zeller read all the female roles. The narrators did an amazing job capturing the characters in this book! The story grabbed me from the beginning and I loved Vivian and Dante! From them being forced together, to them seeing that it might have been the best thing to happen to them. I really enjoyed the dynamics of the characters and how Ana created this story full of ups and downs and a little bit of intrigue. Can't wait for King of Pride!

Super narration, mediocre romance

I continue to be underwhelmed by Ana Huang’s particular brand of billionaire “morally grey” MMCs. Her FMCS are fine, if always unrelatable (for me). There wasn’t much to write home about here, nothing new or fresh, and there was a distracting plot hole that was left unaddressed that undermined my believing the HEA (Heath’s ruin is just… not addressed? When it is definitely something that would have gotten in the way of a future between Vivian and Dante). So yeah, very ‘meh’ story.

The duet narration was stellar though, and I’d listen to the next installment just for these two.

PERFECT

I absolutely LOVED this audiobook. I’d read this book when it came out and fell in love with the characters and the story, and when I had the opportunity of listening to the characters come to life I just couldn’t help it! And honestly, I don’t regret it; the performance was outstanding, you could hear the feelings flowing ans it was soooo good!

amazing!

I tried the ebook, but couldn't get past the 6th chapter for some reason. Heard a tiny piece of the audiobook on instagram and decided to give it another try. And I'm so happy I did!! It was honestly amazing! The performance, the tension, chefs kiss!
