About this listen
Duet narration by Sebastian York and Lucy Rivers
She’s his fiancée’s younger sister. He’s the man she’s always loved.
When her sister doesn’t show up on her wedding day, Raven has no choice but to take her place — but marriage to Ares Windsor is nothing short of torture.
The elusive billionaire media mogul is the man she’s always loved… yet he’s only ever had eyes for her sister.
Married to him at last, Raven is determined to win him over.
After all, everything is fair in love and war.
And this?
This is war.
Publisher's Note: this book contains a lot of angst. As mentioned in the blurb, the heroine is marrying her sister's fiancé. If this is not a theme you'd enjoy, then this book might not be for you. This is a standalone with a guaranteed happily-ever-after, and no cheating.

I love a good book filled with angst, but the FMC is too selfpitting and whiney without a good enough reason, if you ask me. The MMC does nothing but reasure her most of the book and most of the 'problems' are simply miscommunications, misunderstandings and the FMC deep insecurities.
I really liked Sebastian York's narration, but Lucy Rivers was a bit too whiney... maybe the other books are better with different narrators...
It was okay, but....

And Sebastian York and Lucy Rivers brought Ares and Raven to life! Great narrators

Loved Ares and Raven

So far as the story was concerned, I am fine with arranged marriages, but the FMC was so irritating with her incessant insecurities, bearing in mind her husband was already her best friend!
As for the sister and mother, I don't think these characters could have been more toxic had they tried and I failed to see why the father couldn't have intervened to alleviate this more.
Too toxic for me!
