About this listen
Rowan
I'm in the business of creating fairy tales. Theme parks. Production companies. Five-star hotels. Everything could be all mine if I renovated Dreamland. My initial idea of hiring Zahra was good in theory, but then I kissed her. Things spiraled out of control once I texted her using an alias. By the time I realized where I went wrong, it was too late.
People like me don't get happy endings. Not when we're destined to ruin them.
Zahra
After submitting a drunk proposal criticizing Dreamland's most expensive ride, I should have been fired. Instead, Rowan Kane offered me a dream job. The catch? I had to work for the most difficult boss I'd ever met.
Rowan was rude and completely off-limits, but my heart didn't care. At least not until I discovered his secret. It was time to teach the billionaire that money couldn't fix everything. Especially not us.
Contains mature themes.

Good story

***SPOILERS***
Gave it 3 stars rather than 4 because I struggled with Rowen's personality being built around a damaged childhood that didn't seem to have much ground or depth.
Cute Romance

Dreamland Billionaires is a series focussed around three brothers who’s grandfather has passed away but has left them them an inheritance each with conditions to fulfil in order to receive it. Brady Kane founded Dreamland, a fictionalised version of Disneyland. Rowan is tasked with renovating a popular ride at the park which also enables him to tap into his creative side that he’s spent many years suppressing. While he tries to secure his role as CFO he also works alongside Zahra Gulian, along the way their relationship goes from bickering and witty banter to something much deeper. There were times where Rowan frustrated me with his indecisiveness, but seeing him put effort into forming a relationship with Zahra was really interesting. His character progression was written so well as the change in his attitude from start to finish really showed a lot of growth considering his upbringing following his mothers death. Although all his actions weren’t justifiable I loved how things worked out in the end and that Zahra was the one who helped him change his ways. The grumpy-sunshine trope worked so well between Rowan and Zahra’s characters, their traits balanced each other out.
A wonderful read/listen ☺️
