The ground work was set, bad boy with family issues, girl with family issues. Both different backgrounds but sadly the story is too shallow... Poor character development with every possible generic profile thrown at the filler characters. But hey, the audio guys sound amazing so bonus points to them 🤣

A fun and easy read from a story perspective. The female narration, though delivered well, is practically whispered when anyone but the main character is speaking which makes it a frustrating listen. I had to buy the hard copy.

Aside from the cliche (and fyi saying it's a cliche doesn't make any less a cliche) and the bs at the end... a year? really? It was actually good, better than I tought.
