I didn’t know that so much gore and gruesome depiction of unaliving people, together with great banter, explosive s£xua! tension and hilarious moments would make for a great romance novel (even if dark).
I have to say one thing: I’ll NEVER look at beef tartare and cookies & cream ice cream the same- FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!
OMFG the slow burn was painful, their pining, yearning and tension was so intense I hurt a little every time it didn’t culminate in passion. Be aware of the loooooong wait (around the 60% mark) until we get steamy, super spicy and kinky fire works 🎉🔥🎊🌶
Best proposal ever, and not really easy to replicate in real life 😜
All in all a hilarious and intense read that I couldn’t put down.
The narrators killed it 🔪🗡🪓 😂 Joe Arden and Lucy Rivers were just amazingly good at portraying all the feels. There is no way to replace an excellent narration with anything else. The way they interpreted their characters was perfection and I love it was a duet narration. Duet narration are so much better than any other type, totally worth it.
