Summary

Marty Neumeier, author of The Brand Gap and other business best-sellers, has written an audiobook that leaps right into your pounding heart.

One rainy night in December, young CEO David Stone is inexplicably called back to the office. The company’s chairman tells him that the board members have reached the end of their patience. If David can’t produce a viable turnaround plan in five weeks, he’s out of a job.

The problem is, he’s already used every trick in the book and nothing has worked. His only hope is to try something new. But what? The powerful tools at the center of the story are the five Qs of strategy and the five Ps of design thinking. These make up the basic principles of agile strategy - a faster, more collaborative approach to building a brand.

Whether you’re a CEO, strategist, marketer, manager, designer, writer, researcher, or consultant, you’ll find familiar challenges and recognizable faces here. You’ll also discover the ability to see business in a new light - not as a static set of requirements, but as a living entity that responds to passion, purpose, and creative collaboration. Scramble is that rare audiobook that everyone on your team will eagerly listen to, discuss, and put into action.

The best book I’ve read about the agile strategy

I have read most of Marty's books, The Brand Gap, Zag, etc. but this one was definitely the best.

We humans love stories, and to explain everything in such an amazing storyline was incredible. Marty, you are a true master.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who would like to read a book for fun, but at the same time learn something, and is tired of all the "self-help" and motivational books. Just wow!

The incredible story and characters! I felt like I knew them and was rooting for them!

This is the best business book on branding I have read / listened to! I listened to it during a weekend when I was bashing my head about how to brand a very important client! Not only did I love every single page but it taught me more than a business book could! Oh and Marty’s voice was just perfect!

Best book I have read about Business Strategy!

This is truly a new way of learning about Business in general.

Practical information that can be easily grasped and applied, you just have to listen carefully, take notes, and execute every single step from this book.

Well done Marty Neumeier!

Enjoyed it but wouldn’t listen twice

I enjoyed it but I’m not really into novels.. 3 hours in and I felt like I still hadn’t learned much. I think this was a great book and a unique format but it just wasn’t for me. Call it user error.. 4/5 for me.

Thrilling business book

Never thought I'd enjoy something labelled a 'business thriller' as much as that. If you're interested in branding, strategy or enjoy Marty neumeier books I highly recommended this.

Visual Story Telling at it's Finest!

It was clear from the start that this would be an advanced version of the principles from the previous book "Zag", but the storytelling is what makes this book a classic for me. Felt like I had watched this when the reality was that I had only listened. Great Book!
