Loved the narrator but was thoroughly irritated by the main character. She makes lots of poor decisions and the ending really infuriated me.
Narrator was great and enjoyed listening to her voice.
Hoping Paige Toon's other books aren't quite so hard work.

Just ok.

I loved this book. Did not want it to end so was glad to see that the story continued. Like all of Paige Toon's books it was very well written and leaves you with conflicting opinions of the characters. Highly recommended!

LOVE THIS BOOK

It just really is the best book I’ve read/listened to! It’s just as good if not better the second time around and just really gets you in the feels!

My favourite book.

This is one of Paige’s earlier books I think and her writing shows this. The story is entertaining but does not really get into the depths of the characters as in her later books. Reader was good as that always makes a difference in an audiobook.

Entertaining

I’ve loved reading all of Paige Toon’s books and listening to this one was so enjoyable and easy.

Easy listening

I really wanted to like this story. The reader Nicky Diss is good at accents. The story starts out well with Meg off on a sudden exciting opportunity. I am afraid it's the multiple descriptions of Johnny being found in his own vomit after drinking, doing coke and bedding yet another young woman that I struggled with. I get that he is a bad boy but this is not such a fun comic romance book as many others out there like Lindsey Kelk. Fine if you like gritty romance. Not so good if you prefer light romantic comedies.

I recently read "the minute I saw you" by this author and adored it so much because of the strong characters, the powerful slow burn, and the unpredictable secrets. it was beautiful! this wasn't as good, mainly cos it didn't give me that feel good vibe you get from romance. I don't want to give spoilers so I can't say much on why, just that the main character is weak and I felt icky by the ending (as its like a part 1 of 2 so is unresolved).
the love story is toxic and her obsession means anything else has no chemistry. I can relate to Megan's feelings but not to the whole celebrity thing so its hard to emphasise with her. I don't mind reading about addiction but I don't feel like I ever understood what was going on enough in J's head to ever like or understand him and he is the main male character as Christian isn't in it as much.
I don't want to use a whole credit on the next one as right now I don't like any potential ending. I like that paige does complex characters, but I don't think this is as good at her others. I think I'll use my credit on another of paige's books instead.

not my fav paige book
