When Jake tells Lyssa it's not working, she knows he's not talking about the toaster. Her immediate reaction is to sob into her pillow and wait for Jake to come to his senses. But slowly Lyssa begins to understand that's not an option. In a bid to escape, she embarks on a trekking holiday in Nepal. This is one of the 1st carole Matthews books I read, so was excited to find out it was on audio. Haven't read it in ages so couldn't remember the plot straight away. But now listening to it I remember its good book to listen to while going for my walks , and Julia Barrie brings the books alive.I'm slowly buying all carole audio books as loving reading them but never get enough hours in the day to read.. so downloading a audio is great..

Really lovely book. If your looking for a book with a quick start and a few twist and turns along the way this is for you. Well read and very easy to listen too.

This is a lovely entertaining rom com, I found myself listening to this book at every opportunity to see what happens.
There's a few twists and turns along the way, parts that make you laugh and parts that pull at the heartstrings, just what you expect from this type of book.
The narrator does a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life, although I will say her 'American' accent sounds more Australian to me lol but it doesn't matter
