I loved the story. Bernadette was just brilliant as was the narrator but I had to get used to the voice she used for Bernadette it was a bit gormless for a clever woman. The other voices were brilliant how can you do all of those accents? I’ve had a couple Shari Low books she is so good with her west of Scotland stories. I’m now looking for the next one.

This was my first book by this author and it won’t be the last!! Great characterisation and beautifully narrated, I was hooked from the very beginning. A great read, I’m really wishing there is a sequel??
