Another brilliant listen, loved the plot, was kept guessing until the big reveal and I got it wrong but I got the ever after right. The characters are so real and believable that you feel every emotion they do and for a while thought I was listening to the first book by Shari Low that I didn’t like but at the same time knowing that it was just that she manages to get you totally immersed in her characters lives.
The Glasgow characters and sense of humour are spot on as is the narration, you may think them exaggerated if you’re a stranger to the parts but if not you’ll recognise them, especially Josie. She’s what most people call one of a kind but in truth we all know a few, she’s an absolute gem, I think she’s featured in every book I’ve listened to and I love her.
Love trying out new authors on the Plus Catalogue but Shari Low needs no introduction, I have several of hers in my library, you can choose them blind, everyone’s a winner baby, that’s the truth 🎵🎶
