It’s his first night in London. And her last…

Ruby’s leaving London. She’s not running away from her ex per se, but an exciting opportunity in a new city has landed at the perfect time.

Nic is moving to London. After a bad break-up, he’s excited to see where big-city life could take him.

When a chance meeting throws the pair of them together for just one night, it’s clear that this could be the start of something special. But there’s one problem: she’s leaving, and he’s just arriving. So, after tonight, they’ll never see each other again . . . will they?

From the international bestseller comes a story of two strangers, two cities, and one night that changes everything.

Lovely story. Wasn’t particularly predictable (like most chick lit), a couple of moments really surprised me and even though I knew where it would eventually end up, there were plenty of twists on the road to getting there.
I really like Laura Jane Williams’ writing style, and I love the switching between narrators. If I had to have any criticism, it’s the fact that she uses the word ‘tummy’, which I hate because it’s a word only little kids should use.
Other than that, it’s a lovely story. The characters are really well written and easy to fall in love with, the narration is great from both of the actors. If you like romance novels, this is a great one.

Really good

easy listening romantic comedy, I enjoyed it but as a child free woman, disappointed... I won't say more to not ruin it... it's a good story and written well but our stop is better.

I love Laura's work, but this isn't my favourite

Thoroughly enjoyed the authors previous books but found the lead woman self indulgent and pretentious. Every move was over thought and in the end you just lost interest.

Pretentious

Great story, predictable ending but every enjoyable all the same. Would highly recommend this book

Absolutely LOVED this book! Beautiful story, brought to life by fantastic narrators. I had all but given up on finding a 10/10 book as it seems I’ve listened to them all. Then I found this one! Highly recommend.. it’s everything ❤️
