I love the story how it talks about serious issues and the depth of the characters but as such an innocent love and slow burn to it. It always has a way of making want to read the next book straight away but I’m not sure what the next one is

Whist the characters and narration are great for this genre I found myself getting a little inpatient with the pace of story telling. Some narrative becoming a little repetitive and losing the initial humour which drew me in.
Found myself desperate for something to happen that didn’t involve Shannon getting attacked by someone and Johnny hurting his manly parts.
Come on things need to ramp up to prevent boredom setting in!
