She's about to make a deal with the college bad boy...

Hannah Wells has finally found someone who turns her on. But while she might be confident in every other area of her life, she's carting around a full set of baggage when it comes to sex and seduction. If she wants to get her crush's attention, she'll have to step out of her comfort zone and make him take notice...even if it means tutoring the annoying, childish, cocky captain of the hockey team in exchange for a pretend date.

...and it's going to be oh so good

All Garrett Graham has ever wanted is to play professional hockey after graduation, but his plummeting GPA is threatening everything he's worked so hard for. If helping a sarcastic brunette make another guy jealous will help him secure his position on the team, he's all for it. But when one unexpected kiss leads to the wildest sex of both their lives, it doesn't take long for Garrett to realize that pretend isn't going to cut it. Now he just has to convince Hannah that the man she wants looks a lot like him.

I had to listen at 1.4 speed. The female narrator was way to slow. Wonderful story and quick listen.

Loved The story, struggle with narrations

I loved the story and the male narrator was fine but the female narrator was hard to listen to.

Great story, needs a new female narrator

I was a little disappointed with this audiobook - I’ve got the kindle version and thoroughly enjoyed the story, but the narrator wasn’t as good as others I’ve listened to. She is also the narrator for book 2 (The Mistake) then there are different narrators for books 3 & 4. I’m gonna stock with it as I’ve also read book 2 previously and am looking forward to exploring the rest of the series.
All in all - enjoyed the story, it’s a nice, easy one, and whilst at times I didn’t like the narrator, I still managed to make it through the audiobook!

Good story - didn’t enjoy the narrator

I love alternating between my 25+ hour fantasy sagas and these romance stories—they’re short, fun and with a classic plot that’s always enjoyable. The banter is entertaining, and I really liked Hannah’s personality in this story; she was such a standout character.

Christian Fox’s narration was excellent.....Lorelei, on the other hand, wasn’t quite as appealing for me, but as others have suggested, speeding up her narration really does the trick. With that adjustment, I have no complaints!

Thoroughly enjoyable!

🎧 Garrett and Hannah 🎧

College hockey player needs tutoring to keep his grade and his place on the hockey team. Music major takes no shit and turns him down flat. They eventually come to a deal whereby he pretends to date her to help get her crush to notice her.

DV in his past and SA in hers.

Christian Fox is perfect as Garrett.
Lorelai Avalon is hard to listen to as Hannah - a little whiny and far too slow.
