I read this book Easter 2022 and I have thought about it non stop ever since. so I decided I needed my fix again and decided to listen. I didn't think it could get better. But was I wrong. This story has you laughing one minute and sobbing the next. It has you in a chokehold and doesn't let you go. Simply Incredible

where can I get me a Noah 😭 you'll love this but do be warned it's a slow burn

This. Book.. It was an emotional rollercoaster! It was about love and loss, grief and growth, heartbreak and healing, friends who are family, and discovering this thing we call life. It was painful and beautiful, all mixed into one. This book had me laughing out loud one minute and then crying into my pillow at 3am! It was unputdownable! It’s 540 pages and I read it in just over 24 hours! 🙈

Noah Riley take a bow! He’s not just book boyfriend material but book HUSBAND!! 🫠 He was so selfless, loving, sacrificial, a true cinnamon roll hero! I loved his love for Ari. He fell for her from the first moment but he was so patient with her in his pursuit of her. He treasured her and her friendship, and he only wanted what was best for her and what she wanted, even if that wasn’t him. He was such a good captain, taking care of everyone else, all while his own world was in tatters. He was goodness personified, and Mama Riley did such a good job with him 🥹

Also, I love a good meet cute, and Noah hitting Ari on the head with a football gave me all the feels 🥹

I related to Ari so much! I loved her journey of self discovery and the role Noah played in helping her get there. I loved her growth when she went to college, and stepping out of the shadows of her brother and friends. Moving on from a broken heart, and finding and accepting real love. My heart broke for her as she struggled (I can’t say anything in case of spoilers but IYKYK), but her strength, my goodness! That girl had such a strong character and I loved seeing her see that about herself!

I never know if I’m going to love or hate a love triangle, but I think it was done so well in this book! I loved Noah throughout, I felt for Ari as she struggled and I got so angry at Chase!

But all in all, it had so many of my favourite tropes and I know I’ll definitely be rereading this one over and over again!
