Summary

“It’s like taking your vitamins, so you don’t get sick.” (Barry Zito, baseball player)

No truer words have ever been spoken than the words above by Barry Zito. Transcendental meditation is like taking vitamins so you don’t get sick. Transcendental meditation is the equivalent of eating healthy so you don’t get cancer. Like most people in the world, we are living fast-paced and eating crap. This can cause us to have higher stress levels. But by practicing transcendental meditation, we are cleansing our mind and body of all that toxic energy and replacing it with positive energy.

Have you ever wondered what transcendental meditation is? Well, in this audiobook, you will learn the history of transcendental meditation and how it works in your brain. You will also learn how it can work in your life and how it is affecting the lives of so many celebrities.

Celebrities are preaching about the effectiveness of transcendental meditation and how it is therapeutic in nature. “Meditation erases the stress before it can take hold,” said Barry Zito.

You will also be given detailed instructions on how to use three different types of transcendental meditation.

Don’t bother

All it does it tells you how good it is. Not how to do it. What’s the point? A big sales pitch. But what am I buying?

Amazed about why this book was reviewed 5* ?

Complete waste of money and time to listen. It only preaches about WHY TM is good for you. I was expecting at least some TM techniques. Nothing: on and on about why celebrities practice TM. That’s all!

Great book.

Good explanations and very informative. Easy to understand as someone who only had a limited knowledge on meditation. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to know more about the art of meditation.

step by step guide

Great book. Provides step by step instructions about how to start meditating. Picking your environment. Breathing. Being aware of your feelings. It was very interesting for someone who has never meditated before.

Hilarious Russell Brand impression

Firstly, it does tell you what it claims to, this takes less than two minutes, that's fine, I appreciated being told at last as people seem pretty secretive about it as they want to make as much money as possible from this knowledge that should be available for free to everyone.

The performance is frequently very funny, the Australian accent was so bad, the Russell Brand impression is hilarious (can non-British people really not tell the difference between a cheeky chappy accent from dairn sairf from a privately educated toff?!)! Many silly and unnecessary (but they'll make you laugh; unintentionally I think) impressions and quite a bit of inspirational info on how TM can help with various issues and anecdotes from people on how much it's helped them.

It was only a few quid so I think it's fair and despite reservations I'm glad I got it because, as I said, it does tell you how to do it.

Very disappointing

This book teaches nothing about how to do transcendental meditation... it’s a complete advertisement so you get hooked and pay their courses. Like a sect. You shouldn’t pay for a “secret” mantra to be given to you. This book is absolutely useless. Better read things from Eckahrt Tolle,Mooji or Gangaji... real enlightened people.

An ad and accents of real people

but mercifully short. And what does vibrational frequency mean? Some example would have been nice.

This book is very inspiring and informative

I found this book very informative as a TM practitioner. It explains many phenomenons that I experience in a very understandable way and Has helped me be more dedicated to my practice. The book will not teach you to meditate, but will explain why you should learn.

Satisfied

Well audible. The thoughts and concepts are clear and easy to understand. I particularly like the way the author provides an open invitation to try different approaches to meditation. I recommend this book to anyone considering meditation.

Really Helpful!

I have just completed instruction on TM. You cannot learn the technique from a book. A teacher is a must. Yes it can be expensive but they do provide a money back guarantee and the fee reflects your income. I highly recommend this book to understand the benefits of TM.

Excellent

I am a yoga teacher and have been studying meditation in depth for the last year. It can be hard to find reliable printed information from sources that have an in-depth understanding of the material. What I love most about this book is that it delivers clear competency about meditation and delivers it in a format that you can easily digest and reference again and again.
