This plot was a little more convoluted than the first book in this series so it was harder to follow. It was still exciting and the ending, though bittersweet, was still satisfying. Onward to the next Josie Quinn mystery!

Not a word is wasted to give a full story
This book continues the story of Kim and finds her drawn into another mystery but does contain some sex scenes which are not out of place and are just an aside not taking up most of the story.
It's another short story that gives you a full story - this author has a great gift of giving you a full story, one the could fit a novel twice as long but they just cut out everything except the actual details you need to understand everything.
The Narrator has a wonderful voice, who gives life to each character and her accents are so realistic - well to me anyway but I am neither Italian or Polish or Australian so can only go on my own experience of hearing native speakers.
I normally dislike short stories unless they are factual or belong to a book series but these stories so far - read first two now are very worth listening to.
I was given this book for free but the review is mine alone and I stand by every word I have put, it is shaping up to be a great series - I am listening to book three as I type this.

Useful to Start from Volume 1 in the Series
I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
I must admit that I found it a little hard to understand what Kim did for a living and what her background was. I think that this book doesn't quite work as a standalone if you want to get to know the main characters well. I made the mistake of starting listening to the series from volume 2 and missed some insightful information. I will go back to listen to Volume 1 and see if that will fill some of the gaps. That said, the storyline is an interesting one, full of action, humorous, and entertaining. I liked the many characters that made their cameo appearance in this book, and enjoyed the perkiness of the main ones. I'm not sure how a guide tour gets involved in solving murder mysteries yet (that is one of the particulars that are not clear in this volume), but hopefully I'll be able to figure that out once I listen to the first volume.
The narration was pleasant and since there are so many characters with so many different accents, the effort of giving each individual his or her own voice, was a great one. Looking forward to listen to the first volume.

totally absurd
I'm sorry I wasted my data and time with this
absurd tale . Kim's false tears after turning in 5he vigilante team was laughable. At least be honest with yourself chit!! I'm glad she was outed for her porn take with the MEN. It proves how immoral she was that she took money for compensation. No integrity or molales. Disgusting. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator was lackluster and just read the script.

Lots of twists and turns
This audiobook had me hook, line, and sinker from the start. I couldn't put it down. It kept me guessing from the start till the end.
There was one part, in the beginning, I got a little confused. It could have been done a little smoother and a little less jumpy. Other than that it was really hard to put it down. I even got in trouble at work. Got caught listening. Lol

Interesting crime mystery short story
This audiobook was quick, interesting to listen to. Bookshots are not the most detailed and developed stories, but this was still quite interesting and kept me entertained the whole time. I can't ever usually finish longer audiobooks due to time constraints, so a smaller audiobook like this kept my interest the whole time, and allowed me to be able to finish. It was entertaining, thrilling, and mysterious, not knowing what will happen next. It was definitely a good listen for what it was supposed to be!

Second time reading
This was my second time listening to the audiobook but this time it was for my audiobook group. As a group, we were not disappointed either.
Interesting, believable characters with multiple plot twists. He also used technology, the Federal Reserve, and the FOMC in a way that added to the story without leaving the uninformed lost in the details.
I especially enjoyed how all of it tied together to an ending that made sense and with perfect timing in the end way which is always perfect.
This is the author's second audiobook and I am so glad that over time he has not lost what still makes him one of my favored authors.

Keeps you guessing!
Great suspense...a wide range of possible suspects keeps you guessing right up until the end. If I had one negative thing to say, it would be that I wasn't able to feel any attachment to the main character, Kim.
But the mystery itself is well-written. The cast of characters all had their own small flaws and good attributes as well making them believable. I will definitely be looking for another audiobook from this author.
