Summary
The Cadaver in the Cab at The Grand, Gardone: The Lake Garda Mysteries, Volume 10
An unidentified cadaver is found in the rear a taxi, the poor taxi driver is shocked and distraught. The hapless State Police attempt to name the man, but having exhausted every conceivable avenue of investigation, and with no remaining leads to follow, turn to the Carabinieri. The elite force deploys its finest detectives and its latest procedures, but try as it might, also fails.
Twenty-year-old amateur sleuth Kim is once again called into action by the bewildered Carabinieri. She must help identify the suicide victim, who prior to his demise had undertaken considerable efforts to eliminate any possible method of establishing his origin or his identity. The professional officers wager that even she cannot accomplish the task, but little do they appreciate the profound depths of her insight or the tenacity with which she pursues her objective. She follows the convoluted path wherever it may lead, and endures mishaps and enjoys adventures along the way, but inevitably achieves her goal.

so many plots and subplots going in this audiobook
There are so many plots and subplots going in this audiobook, that the listener must be alert to keep up with all the action. Any listener of murder stories wants to solve the story before the end. The author is up to the challenge. It is difficult to keep up with her, let alone solve the mystery.

Thumbs Up
This audiobook is well written and the storyline is interesting. Certainly many twists and turns with an unusual root cause of the crimes. Some parts were unrealistic, for which I subtracted some points.

If only real life was like this....
I've thoroughly enjoyed this series of books. Easy to listen to, even though the plot can be a bit silly at times, but that adds to the charm. I love the narrator, who clearly developed each character and brought them all to life.

Serviceable thriller
I was indeed looking for something to read that wasn't depressing. At first, this seemed the wrong choice, but I couldn't put it down until I finished it. This is extremely well-written. Christopher Grayson hooks you early and keeps you hooked with the clever plot lines. I highly recommend this audiobook.

Thrilling listen!
Intriguing right up to the end, this book has nonstop action, great characters, and an excellent plot. Thank you KT Ashbourne for your consistency in keeping this reader enthralled throughout all your books. I did not get the meaning, fully, until you told me at the end.

Claire Nicholls is a must buy, must-listen author. This stand-alone is easy to follow and difficult to put down. No editing errors, gratuitous violence, or drag-you-down thrill.

This audiobook is not just a murder-mystery
This audiobook is not just a murder-mystery, it's also a book about gossip full of drama and plot turns. Sometimes when listening to a great audiobook like this you often fear the ending won't live up to your expectations- but not with this, the ending is incredibly satisfying.

A different kind of mystery
An excellent antidote for reality! Which is the greater mystery: who is the corpse in the cab or how does Kim keep falling into more businesses and more money? Follow her exploits, laugh yourself silly, and decide for yourself! Great fun and resourcefulness!

Another book by KT Ashbourne that I loved!
I really loved the way it is presented. This book is so entertaining edge of your seat action/suspense with equal parts making fun of pretty much anything. I love that it doesn't take itself too seriously. Also, good luck for the next sequel.

Forget reality!
LGBT, mystery, investigation, situational-humor, verbal-humor, Italy An excellent antidote for reality! Which is the greater mystery: who is the corpse in the cab or how does Kim keep falling into more businesses and more money? Follow her exploits, laugh yourself silly, and decide for yourself! Great fun and resourcefulness! Claire Nicholls continues to add to the fun and mischief as narrator.
