GRIPPING

I realize that it has taken some time to get round to listening to this audiobook, however, I have found it to be absolutely gripping. My wife and I share a love for books including many of the same authors. But we both think this is the series we have enjoyed most.

I'm the most interesting person you know.

Kim is 19 years old, living in Italy by Lake Garda, with no Italian and dis.missive of foreigners who haven't learned English. With all the confidence of youth, she investigates the apparent disappearance of a German tourist who's Mercedes is parked for several days outside the bordello in Bordalino.
This book is simply written, the plot straightforward with underlying humour. Good fun.
Narration by Claire Nicholls is also straightforward and clear, her juvenile sounding voice a perfect fit to the character.
Nothing groundbreaking here, but quick, lighthearted fun.
My thanks to the rights holder who, at my request, freely gifted me with a complimentary copy of The Brutal Bordello, 4th in the Lake Garda Mystery series, via Audiobook Boom

Well done.

Kim meeting a stranger doesn’t think it is who they say they are. As she digs into it, she finds even more questions. Good series and good narrator Given audio for my voluntary review

Another great detective audiobook!

Another “Wow” read from Claire Nicholls. This book is all kinds of twisty and so, so good!
I love this series so much. I feel like these characters are like old friends. That’s what Claire Nicholls does to you, she pulls you in and then tortures you by threatening your friends!

Enjoyable listen

I loved this one as I have all the earlier ones. I love learning more about Kim and saving the jobs of the people in the small town!. I listened from start to finish in one sitting, and couldn't put it down.

Totally awesomely outstanding!

I wish that I could give this way more than 5 stars. I think it deserves somewhere in the neighborhood of 12 to 15 stars. I don't normally leave written reviews, just stars, but this is worth dealing with my discomfort with writing.

If You Enjoy listen A Great Mystery

I have always enjoyed listening to a good audiobook. I did not know that I would stumble upon a great mystery series that I can’ wait to start listening to an audiobook. What I enjoyed about this audiobook was that Claire Nicholls writes with such detail that you can vividly find yourself in the time, place, he is telling about. You can hear the sounds around you and imagine what you would see if You were there!! Such talent.

The Brutal Bordello of Bardolino

Kim continues to use her amateur sleuthing skills and uncovers a few unexpected crimes. She certainly seems to be making a name for herself.

I’m enjoying the European feel of this series. The author is keeping me interested with the unique storylines and the narration fits quite well.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.
