Great book, well narrated

I have previously owned the paperback copy of the book which I found helped enormously with my anxiety. I got the audiobook to recap whilst on long drives and I was very pleased wth how well narrated it is and how clearly the message comes across when spoken. I'd certainly recommend this to anyone suffering from anxiety, it's a very interesting listen too as a bonus.

Sat on the fence

As a sufferer of anxiety I was hoping this would be helpful given the reviews ... I’ve used the audio book because I didn’t want the book lying around as I’m still embarrassed at my condition. I can hide an audio book .

The audio version is one which I needed to go back over time and again either through falling asleep or convoluted explanations. Some long chapters to deal with rather than bite sized consumable bits to help in the condition .

It took time to get to the solutions to help which maybe I was hoping was going to be the light at the end of the tunnel .. sadly not . Some solutions are obvious but it’s not easy just to out and get a new job , house etc

The audio book version was a bit tedious , the speed and tone of the voice wasn’t great and made it hard going . I think the author / publisher should have employed s much more soothing and fluent orator .

I’ve not yet finished the audio book .. a few hours to go , maybe I need to start again and give it more attention but it lost me too early .

excellent book

This book is a must read for anyone with anxiety. It really helped me to understand anxiety and gave me the tools to accept it and not fight it. It has a great chapter at the end for bad days and a half hour relaxation section. A lifesaver which I refer back to when I need it. Thankyou John!

This Reading On Anxiety Truly Is Amazing

Helped me identify my anxiety and how to make myself rethink my mindset into a better place, everything was clearly explained in every chapter the author has a very relaxing voice

Amazing

Very insightful, lots of great examples presented in a very interesting and digestible way. I listened to all of it word by word. It’s impossible to get yourself distracted from it. It definitely opened my eyes on many issues and already helped me overcome some of them. This is the best book on anxiety/ psychology on here I found so far.

Very relatable and helpful

Very balanced with helpful tools to help you manage your anxiety. Easy to listen to very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend listening to this book .
I will keep it to look back on when I need it

Life changing

i have struggled with anxiety for many years and have read various books which have helped to varying degrees. However, his one by far has made an immense difference .... i can not recommend enough!

John Crawford knows what it feels like and is able to put into words some amazing insights to help understand why I am feeling this way and has given me some amazing tools to take forward. Nothing is 100% as we are all different and experience anxiety in diff ent ways for different reasons so not all of what is discussed will be right for you but I am sure so much will. Worth listing to the entire book and also great to revisit chapters too! Thank you! So much!
