Amazing book

This book is absolutely amazing. I literally felt like it was written about me. I could do easily identify with everything the author said and actually finished it in one sitting! I loved it so much I’ve contacted the author to arrange counselling sessions. I highly recommend this book for anyone suffering with severe anxiety / panic.

AMAZING

I absolutely loved this. I've struggled with anxiety for approximately 8 years and most recently serious/major panic attacks.
I've been on various types of medication and saught advice from counselling but I was still suffering with both.
Listening to Joshua's voice and allowing myself to drift into the book put my life into perspective and gave me an understanding of my problems.
I've now started to address these issues and look at things in a different way.
whenever I'm feeling a bit anxious then I pop the head phones in and pull myself back to my life, not the anxiety life . 10/10 .

So so helpful - a brilliant discovery

I found this audio by chance when I was 8 months or so into a terrible anxious and panicy time . I have suffered with anxiety on and off most of my 52 year life . This book discovery came while I was waiting for CBT to start and has been truly so so helpful
Having the audible version with Joshua s voice I feel was brilliant as it felt like I had a councellor with me as opposed to reading a book that I could not focus on at a time of anxiety and panic . I listen to it at night when I can't sleep and over and over in this more acute stage . Has been my best new year discovery ! Thank you Joshua

Best Anxiety book to date.

I have suffered with anxiety and panic attacks on and off for 15 plus years. I have been on anti depressants, tried CBT, herbal remedies, Kinesiology, self help books, etc etc.
This book is so simple in its guidance and very helpful. I didn't need a masters degree in Physcology to understand it. It has finally, I believe given me the tools to better understand my condition and to manage it better in the future. Highly recommended, Brett Crane

Great audio resource for anxiety & panic

This was a brilliant audiobook. It was as if this book had been personally written by someone who had observed my symptoms for a long time... But when you realise that you are not alone as a sufferer and all these symptoms and behaviour patterns are so common, then it’s half the battle. This is a clear, no frills, descriptive guide that covers off all the ‘why’s’! I would thoroughly recommend.

An essential read for anxiety sufferers

I can’t recommend this book enough for anyone struggling with anxiety. Its been so good at helping me realise what’s happening with my body and mind as an anxiety sufferer, which has assisted me make sense of it. I’ve read all of Joshua Fletcher’s books and they’ve helped me so much with techniques and rationalising with my anxious self. Not an easy job! I especially like the audiobook format. It’s nice hearing Joshua explain the condition, and when I’ve had anxious days it’s been nice to listen to and realise other people have the same thoughts/issues as me.

You are not alone!

I purchased this book a while ago now, when I was suffering frequently from panic attacks.
The first time I listened to it, I felt enormous relief that the symptoms I felt are common and that you can actually deal with them as Josh has done.
I hadn’t been able to manage my attacks through breathing exercises, meditation or other methods. However hearing all the common symptoms listed and the science behind how you think, it immediately helped me and I began to have less attacks.
I listen to the book around 3 times a week now just for good practice and to remind myself I am not alone and it is just anxiety.
Highly recommended.

Completely worthless

This book lost me when the author claimed eye floaters are caused by anxiety. If you enjoy the reading of lists and completely non-medical based nonsense, this book is for you.
