Best Anxiety book to date.
I have suffered with anxiety and panic attacks on and off for 15 plus years. I have been on anti depressants, tried CBT, herbal remedies, Kinesiology, self help books, etc etc.
This book is so simple in its guidance and very helpful. I didn't need a masters degree in Physcology to understand it. It has finally, I believe given me the tools to better understand my condition and to manage it better in the future. Highly recommended, Brett Crane

Amazing book
This book is absolutely amazing. I literally felt like it was written about me. I could do easily identify with everything the author said and actually finished it in one sitting! I loved it so much I’ve contacted the author to arrange counselling sessions. I highly recommend this book for anyone suffering with severe anxiety / panic.

So so helpful - a brilliant discovery
I found this audio by chance when I was 8 months or so into a terrible anxious and panicy time . I have suffered with anxiety on and off most of my 52 year life . This book discovery came while I was waiting for CBT to start and has been truly so so helpful
Having the audible version with Joshua s voice I feel was brilliant as it felt like I had a councellor with me as opposed to reading a book that I could not focus on at a time of anxiety and panic . I listen to it at night when I can't sleep and over and over in this more acute stage . Has been my best new year discovery ! Thank you Joshua

Basically tells you to “man up”
I’ll save you the money. Solve all your anxiety issues by simply telling yourself “it’s just anxiety” and magically all will be well.
This makes me so angry. It’s this kind of tripe that causes suicide. You’re effectively telling people to suck it up and get on with it anyway. No consideration for the emotional aspects of anxiety. No consideration for the crippling physical symptoms some people suffer. Panic attack? Oh it’s just anxiety ignore it and carry on! Yeah right!
Feels like it’s written by someone who can out think their anxiety - lucky them most of us can’t just tell ourselves all will be well and get on with things. Proper therapy and support can help you with your condition, don’t waste your time on this.

An essential read for anxiety sufferers
I can’t recommend this book enough for anyone struggling with anxiety. Its been so good at helping me realise what’s happening with my body and mind as an anxiety sufferer, which has assisted me make sense of it. I’ve read all of Joshua Fletcher’s books and they’ve helped me so much with techniques and rationalising with my anxious self. Not an easy job! I especially like the audiobook format. It’s nice hearing Joshua explain the condition, and when I’ve had anxious days it’s been nice to listen to and realise other people have the same thoughts/issues as me.

Great audio resource for anxiety & panic
This was a brilliant audiobook. It was as if this book had been personally written by someone who had observed my symptoms for a long time... But when you realise that you are not alone as a sufferer and all these symptoms and behaviour patterns are so common, then it’s half the battle. This is a clear, no frills, descriptive guide that covers off all the ‘why’s’! I would thoroughly recommend.

Not much useful content
If you are totally unaware what anxiety is, then this book might be for you. Otherwise, it's a waste of time for anyone who has suffered from anxiety or even has done a little bit of research. The main point of the book is that anxiety is an imbalance of adrenaline in your brain, without going into the details. Then the author says that the best coping strategy is just not to think about it too much.
