Awesome! Action-packed escapism at its best!

If you’re looking for a thrill-a-minute action adventure romp with shades of Guy Ritchie’s work sewn in throughout, look no further than Stephen Taylor’s brilliant story. Having lived in East London myself (just off Whitechapel Road) Taylor hit all the right notes with the characters and setting. Super fast paced with no let up and I thought the narrator did a grand job. Highly recommended.

Superb Danny Pearson Thriller

Having read all the Danny Pearson series, the Audible version is great and really well produced. I found myself sitting outside appointments waiting for the chapter to finish. Really enjoyable and highly recommended. Nice work Steve.

Fast Paced Thriller

Wow! My First ever Audible Listen was quite an intriguing experience!

Story wise this was a cracking introduction to the explosive world of Danny Pearson, Mobsters, Guns and Violence!

Pearson is a very strong protagonist and this book has the feel of a tv series like Strike Back and it’s certainly a story I feel could be adapted for the big screen.

Thoroughly enjoyable action packed listening.

For my first listen it definitely took some getting used to but the narrator and all his accents are very easy listening and he ups the ante with his voice control well bringing the feeling of action and tension.

Overall this was a great fun listen but I’ll likely read more in future

Well written. Believable hero. I like the think the hero’s always win but this also shows the cost

Man-fiction at its best: a high-octane thriller

The first in ST’s Danny Pearson series and a gripping start! This is man-fiction at its best: an action upon action, high octane thriller. If you like guns and bad guys, death and violence, this book’s for you. Narration well-paced and interesting and I liked the sound effects for phone calls and radio comms - a nice little touch you don’t hear often in audiobooks that made it feel a bit more real. I think for internal dialogue it was a step too far, but hey, not enough to knock off a star. A great, entertaining listen for a bit of escapism!
