About this listen

History always repeats itself, or does it? Could you change your past? Relive the 70s, 80s and 90s in this witty and gripping time travel series. Evoke the memories and discover the mystery.

Eighteen years have elapsed since Jason Apsley grabbed his second chance after time traveling forty-two years into the past. It's now 1994, and those time-travelling calamitous years of the late 70s and 80s are now a distant memory. Life is perfect or is it? Jason's worst nightmare becomes a reality when a mysterious letter appears, suggesting his immediate future may not be as rosy as expected. As the chaos ensues, an inquisitive journalist and DCI French close in on the truth about his past. Will time repeat itself, or can Jason, once again, alter the future?

If you like time travel, entwined with mystery and humour, you'll love the fast-paced time travel series by Adrian Cousins.

As always I thoroughly enjoyed the audiobook. The story was great and the characterisation always made me smile. I did feel that occasionally there was a little too much padding. But the action at the end certainly made up for it. I very much look forward to the next one in the series.

Writing stood out but just a little long winded in parts
