Summary

“You don’t belong.”

No words whispered in anger have ever rung more true.

They’re the Kings of Brayshaw with the world at their feet, destined for greatness and in need of control. I’m the girl from the ghetto with nothing to offer and as defiant as they come.

They say it doesn’t matter, that I’m one of them now, and nothing could ever change that. Not even me, should I dare try.

But they’re wrong.
They underestimate how far I’ll go to protect them.

Trouble is coming...and they have no idea.

Trouble at Brayshaw High is the the highly anticipated follow-up to Boys of Brayshaw High, and should be heard only after having listened to book one.

Great Continuation

Absolutely loved the way the characters have grown together and how they will protect each other even if it means going against the family ties and rules.

Raven has somehow become a more intricate part of the Brayshaw fold, I won't spoil it by saying how. But be ready for a big big collision between, Grayshaws, Brayshaws and Raven who is the main reason why all this is happening, and the father of the boys realises has met his match and can't be manipulated here mother was, and where he has definitely underestimated her stronghold on the 3 Brayshaw lads.

When is book 3 going on audible ??!!!

Ok so I started this series not knowing there is a book 3 not yet on audible. Gah! I could just kick myself! Although frustrated I have to say I love love love this series so far. Love this author and the story is so flipping good. I love the dynamic of the characters and the narration is perfect. Totally recommend but would suggest to wait till all books are out on audible before you start. Please hurry on the 3rd book!

So scandalous it hurts

Holy moly!! This is my first time listening to Meagan’s work and idk why I didn’t hear of her before. I binged the first and this audiobook with 0 sleep and I. AM.NOT. SORRY! The cliffhanger , suspense, scandal, emotion and plot is epic. I cannot wait for the final installment. The narrators did an amazing job capturing the emotions of all charters that it helped with the ebb and flow of the storyline.

Better in audio

Raven is a Brayshaw Girl. The first. Then she betrays them and goes to their enemy. She may have her reasons but will they figure out that she's still protecting them? And when secrets start coming to light, will it even matter?

This book/series is entertaining even if it is frustrating. These characters create so much unnecessary drama. They thrive on drama. Normal conversations are just not a part of their day. Sharing, using words instead of their fists or simply glaring just doesn't happen. Trust still doesn't exist. Raven still won't accept her feelings and take a chance. Her view that love is a weakness is beyond annoying. How can a girl pretend that she is tough but is scared to let down her walls?

I still believe that this book is better as an audiobook. Stephen Dexter and Jillian Macie continue to give strong performances as the characters. They capture each aspect wonderfully.

The secrets that were revealed were surprises. I'm not sure yet what the information is leading to because their best-laid plans have gone astray. Again. Maybe the Brayshaw men need to stop planning the lives of the women! Despite the reveals not as much happened in this book as I would have liked. No emotional growth, plans but no action, and little story progress. Still, I am all in. I look forward to more in book 3.

Must read!

I love these narrators for this book! Jillian has a perfect voice and Stephen was really easy to listen to I loved his deep voice. T rouble at Brayshaw High was everything you could think of and more! Part 2 in the brayshaw series did not disappoint. I loved everything about this book. Meagan Brandy sucks you in to every book she writes from the first word to the last. Raven goes through a lot in this book, she kicks a$s and takes names later if she even cares for your name. There’s a few twists that raven experiences that no one sees coming! Raven never disappoints though and her choices are all for her boys. Her and big man have some hot scenes and also some loving ones that really show how their relationship has grown and how close they are. She’s not only close with him but with Royce and captain as well. Royce and captain really care for raven as well and that’s shown throughout when facing some of these challenges. From book 1 there’s a few things left unanswered that for the most part are answered in book 2 and will leave you on the edge of your seat or jumping up and down in elation. Every character has a part and some aren’t who you thought they were. I highly recommend reading this book after reading BOBH. Book 3 is going to be the last one and I can’t wait for it to be out.

I love a badass heroine with a mega alpha male hero

The second book in the Brayshaw High Series was thrilling, intense and bursting with desires and revelations. We wanted answers and we got them but we also got more twist and turns and a hell of a cliffhanger. All the new drama and dilemas from our Brayshaw gang will leave you wanting to throw your kindle to the wall. I know I did!!! I wanted to scream every time something unexpected happened to Raven and the guys.

𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙡𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚. 𝙐𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙. 𝙍𝙚𝙘𝙠𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨. 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙚.

Raven Carver becomes more badass in this book. She is a bit reckless when it comes to protecting her guys. Maddoc, Captain and Royce have engrave themselves inside her heart. She will do ANYTHING for them. Raven is a fighter, resilient, strong, ruthless and the perfect queen for the Brayshaw Kingdom.

𝙎𝙚𝙭𝙮 𝙗𝙤𝙨𝙨𝙮 𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙙.

Maddoc Maddoc Maddoc! If you girl thought he was on fire in BOBH, you have seen nothing yet. In this book he has no restraints whatsoever in when it comes to Raven and his family safety. He is possessive, loyal, strong and all alpha male. He won’t stop until it’s clear to Raven that her place is at his side. He will deal with anyone standing in the way of his family.

I can’t wait for the next book. I need to know. The revelations brought in this one left me with a big WTH face.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Only complaint was the plot got got so complicated it took away from the romance of the book, and it’s plot was a little unbelievable. Teenagers running a town? But I still loved the characters and their loyalty to each other. Well worth a credit.

WOW, SO SO SO GOOD!

I loved, loved, loved this series. This book is so good. Ray is such a kick-ass and can hold her own. I love all 3 guys, Maddox, Captain and Royce and i'm a little disappointed that it's not a reverse harem. I thought that's where the book was heading, but never the less it is still fantastic. There's a helluva cliff-hanger. I'm impatiently waiting for the next book. I need it asap.

Entertaining Story. 3.5 stars

I liked the story but the female narrator was the wrong voice for this character. Female narrator sounds very preppy. I visualize her in tennis skirts and polos, not in ripped jeans and hoodies and definitely not in a fight.

The Male narrator was sexy but he sounds like a much older man and not a teenager.
