This book gives great support and understanding to women with ADHD. Each section includes exercises and clear explanations that promote self-acceptance, awareness and self-care. I felt that the steps will help improve functional tasks, time management , self-esteem, relationships with others and my favorite emotional regulation. I felt the author wrote from experience and understanding. Overall I felt this is changing how we look at things and turning this into a positive instead of ADHD as a negative. Very empowering and I loved the mindfulness techniques.

I have recently read and listened to several books for my own ADHD and I've been loving how much I am learning about myself and all the tips and tricks I am picking up. My friend was envious, so after getting this one I sent it to her. She's loved it! The fact that it talks to you about ADHD in a way you can understand easily, not like a dense textbook, and the way it points out the strengths you may have as someone with ADHD (not just the problem points) both serve to make it a worthwhile and enjoyable read or listen.
