Summary
Christmas has arrived in the town of Wynbridge, and it promises mince pies, mistletoe and a whole host of seasonal joy.
Ruby has finished with university and is heading home for the holidays to save up for her trip around the world in January. Against her father’s wishes, she takes on a stall at the local market and sets about making it the best Christmas market stall ever. There’ll be bunting and mistletoe and maybe even a bit of mulled wine.
But with a new retail park just opened on their doorstep, the market is under threat. So together with all the other stallholders, Ruby devises a plan to make sure that Wynbridge is the first port of call for everyone’s Christmas shopping needs.
The only thing standing in her way is Ruby’s ex, Steve. It’s pretty hard to concentrate on saving the world when he works on the stall opposite, especially when she realises that her feelings for him are still there....
This Christmas make time for some winter sparkle - and see who might be under the mistletoe this year....

not for me
a dull predictable story with a main character who is so naive she couldn't possibly be an adult in real life. was looking forward to a cosy entertaining Christmas listen but sadly did not hit the mark at all

I Loved this Book
Every single one of the books by Heidi Swain is as expected. Very easy to listen to. A brilliant story with some twists.
With some laughs & happy tears.
This book was no exception.
I would definitely recommend it.

Great feel good story
Loved this including narrator performance. A lovely listen all round. Though there is a Christmas theme, I was quite happy to read it in February!

Love it!
I really enjoyed this story and felt thoroughly 'Christmassy' by the end of it! Not sure quite how believable Ruby's Father's story line was but hey, it's Christmas!!
Excellent narrator who really enhanced my enjoyment of this book.

I LOVED IT
When I read the summery/ book review I thought that it may be a bit predictable and also a small bit boring ......but I was wrong I really enjoyed this book but I am a woman that loves romance, sparkle, sickly sweet and all fluffy things in life! if you are that kind of person I'm sure you will love this book in fact all of Heidi Swain books.

*Christmas Madness*
Ruby is going home to Wynbridge to stay with her parents for the holidays. She has finished university and enjoyed the experience. Coming home stirs up some painful memories. Steve the man that she made so many plans with that never materialised is living in Wynbridge. In her head she is so over him, is that the case?
Ruby has plans of her own and she is here to help out in the Christmas market to top up her funds for travelling around the world. Her father is less than impressed as she has a great degree and working on a market stall he feels it is beneath her. All that running along with the feud he has with Steve’s family who mainly run the market goes down like a lead balloon, not to mention he is responsible for what happens to the market and planning and trouble is afoot
Like with most of Heidi Swain’s books they are easy reads with a mix of misunderstandings, people jumping to conclusions and heartbreak, love as well as comedy characters
Will Ruby and Steve ever talk and hear each other out? Is there a spark simmering between them or is it well and truly over?

Sorry I spent money on this!
Insipid story, with predictably twee characters! I shall have to avoid these books in the future!

Dull
I’ve listened to a few books by Heidi Swain before, and enjoyed them, but this one was so dull and predictable. I normally seek out Karen Cass’ narration and she’s been my favourite narrator but Bea’s whiney voice was particularly grating as was Bea’s whole character. She was very unlikable for me. I really wanted to listen to the very end but I dipped in and out of it because the book was just so boring :(
