Her dream holiday is his everyday life. His dream holiday is her normal life. What happens when they collide?

Ally and her dad, Geoff, run the family business, a creative retreat, from their home Hollyhock Cottage in picturesque Kittiwake Cove. They give their guests their dream break, but Ally hankers after glamourous city living, fancy restaurants and art galleries.

Ally’s survival strategy is to escape out of season, take a break abroad and pretend to be the person she always imagined she would be. She meets Logan while she’s away and he turns out to be exactly the kind of distraction she’s looking for.

With her spirits restored, Ally returns home, picks up the reins again and sets her sights on another successful season, but when Logan unexpectedly arrives on the scene, she soon realises she’s in for a summer that’s going to be far from straightforward…

A story about bringing a holiday home – and what happens when what goes on on holiday comes back to bite you…

‘Thought-provoking and unashamedly romantic’ heat

‘A fun read’ Bella

‘I know I’m always in safe hands when it comes to Heidi Swain, and The Holiday Escape is just what I expected from a master of romantic fiction…Swain writes female friendships so realistically, and the relationship between Ally and BFF Flora is funny and relatable. As for Ally, we really feel the way she’s being tugged between her family duties and her dream life. When it comes to Logan, you’ll be rooting for them all the way – and tearing through the book to find out what happens next’ My Weekly

'Romance, community, friendship and joy - this story has all the elements we crave in a Swain novel. Dreamy.' Woman's Weekly

‘A delightful romance for sun-soaked days.’ Woman’s Own

What a great story, pre ordered as I love all Heidi Swain books & this didn’t disappoint. A little bit of romance, with home life, jealousy, intrigue & a little bit more romance. Karen Cass is a fabulous narrator. Super listen, all done in 48 hours couldn’t put the book down.

Home is definitely where the heart is

I didn't like the unnecessary swearing. I was embarrassed for others overhearing. Which stories are there of yours that don't have swearing in please. if none , good bye to this author.

I liked the story line generally.
