Brilliant audio book about herbs and spices

I love spices and herbs to use for different purposes in terms of food and health and want to Enjoy the best herbs and spices from around the world! I am amazed by the audiobook by Susan which has brilliantly described the 100 spices and herbs from all over the world.
The incredible section of this audiobook has helped me in understanding the use of various spices and herbs in making meals apart from the traditional salt, pepper and garlic and how to to make my meals taste delicious such as basil, dill, tarragon or paprika and even helped location wise from where to get the exotic herbs such as Ajwan, Espazote and Mahleb.
It has thrilled me with the methods of using all the world's best herbs and spices for health purposes and well described the benefits of each, due to which I can now keep my indigestion to a minimum, lower blood sugar, lower cholesterol and reduce inflammation.
I can now use them to relieve the symptoms of a cold, or help my mum to stop cholesterol from forming in her arteries.
Now I do not need to go for any medicines and multivitamins by having read that some herbs I can use as antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, antibiotic and they contain all kinds of vitamins and minerals that can help me with my immune system to work better.
Along with that, I have found the useful tips of how to harvest or grow my herbs and how to store them for longer use.
Another big advantage is with the audio you can rewind your favourite part easily and you can listen to them again and again without any fuss.
I would recommend it as the best mother's day gift!

Cooking will never be dull again I promise!

Herbs and Spices the Top 100 Best Herbs and Spices from Around the World is just one of the fantastic books by Susan Hollister. Whether you are looking to create new and exciting dishes, or you want something to spice up your usual recipes this book has everything that you need.
I never realized how much of a difference herbs and spices can make and also how many there are on offer, whether you stick to the basic better known herbs such as tarragon, mint, basil and dill or you want to be more adventurous and incorporate spices such as Sumac, Juniper Berry or Garam Masala there is everything you need in this book.
When it comes to cookery I have always been one for getting my recipe book out and standing it up with the page propped open, and more times than I care to mention the book has fallen on the floor, the page flipped over leaving me not only frustrated not to mention the ingredients that also ended anywhere other than where it should! Then I discovered that I could get my favourite cookery books in an audio format, which really was music to my ears.
I found the audio content on how herbs and spices can help to heal the body really interesting and although you can read the text, it is far better to be able to rewind the audio book as you can take the information on board so much easier. The great narrative and information laid out in this book does not only make cooking far easier, but it is a story as such that you can listen to at any time of night or day.
When it comes to general health herbs and spices make a delicious way to not only flavour your food, but you can heal your body too. Spices and herbs can relieve many ailments from the common cold to lower cholesterol or boosting your basic health on a day to day basis. Being able to listen to what these herbs and spices can do and make notes at the same time is something I would recommend to anyone and I particularly like the option to use herbal healing rather than potent shop brought cures.
So, whether you are looking for ways that your daily life can be enriched by herbs and spices or you simply what to spice up your food and awakening your taste buds it is all here in this book. Never again will your food lack flavour, just follow Susan Hollister’s advice and you can’t go wrong.
