I always thought it would be fun to be able to go on nature walks and forage a bit along the way. Before listening to this book I knew absolutely nothing about what was edible and what to stay away from. Now I know so much! I can't wait for my next walk! Another thing I'm really excited about is sharing this information with my kids. They will enjoy getting to get dirty and dig up some wild roots and eat them right there.

I learned so much!

My Coach told me to learn something new every day, so I did. I listened to this book and it was very informative and took me from A to Z smoothly in detailed information. Before, I had no idea about this topic. Now, I can share what I listened to with others.
The book is well structured and the narration is excellent.

I did a quick survival course in the Amazon Rainforest, but it wasn't extremely helpful for learning how to forage in the US. I have a little cabin in the mountains and always wanted to live off the land, and now I know how to do just that. The author clearly respects the land. I was happy to hear the ethics behind her approach and loved the recipe section.

I really wanted to get back into the outdoors and try a bit if foraging and this book is definitely a great guide to help me on my way.
It shows where, what and how to forage, giving me that bit more confidence to get out there and do it. The advice on how to store your find and the recipes is great advice, as i previously remember gathering some great plants, to realise I didn’t know how best to cook and store them before they went off.
Thank you for inspiring me to get back out there.
