Summary

Learn the art of body language and nonverbal communication skills!

Did you know that you are likely to be lied to about two to three times in a short conversation of 10 minutes? It turns out that 91percent of people lie many times throughout the day at work and at home. And you would be surprised that most people don't even have a clue that they are lied to. Why

When we talk, we say very little because it's our body that does the real talking! We express so much more subconsciously through our physical behavior, body posture, gestures, eye movement, facial expressions, touch, and the use of space. So why not learn how to use this to your advantage? Or just take time to hear about because it is very interesting.

Successful people utilize their nonverbal cues to get what they want, depending on the given circumstances. Understanding the body language comes easy to some, while others can't figure it out. Whether you're in the first or in the second group, with this book, you will not only learn how to understand nonverbal signals, you will master them. Loaded with practical tips, this book covers everything you ever need to know about body language, in a variety of business situations. The author covers everything from gestures and postures to personal and physical space.

You can learn to read the many forms of body language in people's hands, legs, eyes, and faces. This skill is especially useful if you're interested in dating.

Well Written and Informative.

This book was a pleasure to listen in one day. The authors made it easy for me to digest the subject matter while learning from their experiences. I will be reviewing sections that I feel are tools I can benefit from. Immediately used the tactics in this book. Great for using when in a heated debate, talking politics and dealing Awesome book on the topic, if you are invested to study the topic. There is no quick, sure fire way to decode what for many folks is an art, their life's work, to lie. Be it the butcher selling you ground Moose meat or your best friend, it takes time. For the non-pro, the advantage goes to detecting the aroma from those folks you know,

A way for book-smart people to understand

Effective communication is achieved more with body language than the spoken word. I took a college course on reading body language, and this excellent book covered the same ground. It's not what you say, but it's how you say it that counts most. Author conveys a broad knowledge of the subject. Additionally, a gifted writer who writes clearly and in depth. Book is well organized into meaningful snippets easily absorbed. Solid!!

I really liked the way the author broke down the elements and illuminated the supportive data of each topic area! Book is hard to put down as he applies each topic into scenarios because it certainly relates you into them and makes you think and become more self aware of your own body language!!! As all of Ms Brockmans books it was well crafted, great character development, the action scenes and knowledge of the Seal,
Ranger, etc teams nomenclature and activities. Admirable

Exellent book.

The humor regarding Lawton was amusing. Having been there I experience similar moments with my parent. Rafferty was careless in paying attention to him and their backs. People in her father's condition need to be watched at all times because they are like kids and will wander off every chance they get.I've been following Hall's career since he published Under Cover of Daylight ten years ago, and he just keeps getting better. Body Language is a fine, funny, scary book. It's a serial killer story, yeah, but nothing Hall does follows the conventional form. If you can guess the killer's identity early on, big deal

Great book Matthew Harvey!!!

. The book is well-written and easy to follow. I find it very helpful for everday use, because we are always surrounded with body language, but we don’t pay much attention to it. By reading this, you can really change the way to look at it, being more analytic and understand people’s emotions better.

Nice book. I enjoyed it.

This books seems extremely informative, and includes more information in some aspects than The Definitive Book of Body Language.in this world where there is much discrimination, much bullying and tearing down of other people, and much over-emphasis on sex rather than the integrity of the entire human person--both physically and spiritually.

I got to understand the topic well. Thanks!

The information presented in this book Mastering Negotiations Through Body Language and other nonverbal signals is wonderful, and immediately useful in life. I can now take better control of my conversations! Greg provided numerous helpful examples which make negotiation and body language points more easy to understand. Its contents reminds the reader to focus on body language and how to communicate with others- it sounds artificial, but I can’t stress how this book will empower you to get to know yourself, and be your best.

A very insightful quick read!

I have been able to read a person on the entirety of their body language how they have received me, however, Craig's details actually have me understand the subtleties of a positive or negative reaction, but not completely understanding the raise of an eyebrow, a downturn of the corner of the lips, or any other initial unnoticeable gestures.
