Summary

This Body Language masterpiece contains proven steps and strategies on how to easily understand what others are saying to you through nonverbal communication and what you and your body language is saying to them!

Psychologists praise the power of body language. Using it, you can decode the inner thoughts and/or emotions of others even without listening to the words they're saying. You also have the ability to adjust your behavior based on the situation you're in, and you have better chances of making other people like and believe in you. Simply put, body language can do things that words cannot.

This audiobook will explain to you how body language works and how to better understand what other people are saying with their body movements and expressions.

Whenever you are communicating with someone, you give nonverbal signals. These can be gestures, the way we sit, a touch on the arm, and many other different things we do throughout our communication. While we all understand nonverbal communication subconsciously, learning how to consciously understand our body language will not only give you a better understanding of other people - but also better control in all aspects of life.

Through learning how body language works, you'll also discover how to better tailor your own body language.

This audiobook will show you how to change your body language to appear more confident, powerful, knowledgeable, and attractive.

Very informative this book for body language!!!

This book exceeds all my expectations. It has pictures and descriptions under the picture of what each behavior indicates and gives a bunch of contrasting behaviors for examples and is incredibly helpful! An excellent book for the lay person who is interested in the psychology of body language. What I found eerie was not observing the behaviors described in the book done by others, but catching MYSELF doing them and . This was an incredible read and reflects the level of development and mastery of the author of this subject.

I liked It so much

This book helped me reflect on my body language as well as the body language of those around me. It's great to have an intellectual explanation for what you notice instinctively. It's an easy read and could use more info on other cultures' norms, but it's great for the basics. The information is this book is very helpful especially when one is trying to pay closer attention to their body language, how his or her expressions convey what he or she is feeling etc. it is just very short and can be read in an evening. Can't complain though. I appreciate it getting to the point quickly.

Best book for body language.

I took some useful knowledge, tips and tricks from this book. I always find body language interesting. Shaking hands with someone you just met, does tell you a lot about that person. I like to keep it simple and have a universal approach to this. But from my life experience I personally don't want to shake hands with anyone if it's not necessary. I thought this book was excellent. I was particularly struck by the analysis of individuality and culture it presents. I've lived in foreign countries so it makes sense to me that gestures are culturally influenced. In college, for example, I had a professor who taught both French and German

Really good book.

I really liked this book. It gave some great insight into being able to detect if someone is deceiving you or not. There are some basic social cues that were discussed but there were other social cues IE paying attention to the feet and legs when trying to detect if someone is lying. Also there are clues to tell if someone is actual smiling or faking a smile. The book ends with giving some insightful information on being able to get people to let there guard down and tell you the truth. Body language is something that all business people and parents should master. Knowing where you stand in a conversation. Provides all the more help in understanding the other side.

A great read on body language!!

Body language is not a new topic nowadays and this book is a good start. Understanding body language is something that can be helpful for improving your levels of communication. I really have to say, this book interested me a lot! The power of body language is much stronger than I thought, and now I have learned so much about interpreting it and being aware of what one does - and that your body can say the opposite of what is coming out of your mouth!

Analyzing peoples isn't to simple the book.

I picked up this book because i found dealing with people so exhausting and it's a mystery for me. The best way is to understand them and then you will understand everything. I've spent a couple of bucks for this book and i don't really regret it. If it costed more, i will still purchase it.

Another 5 Star Book for Adrian Rowney!!

I actually think that this book is better than that one because it covers body language as a subject instead of it being used on just one person. I had no idea that the ok hand movement meant different things around the world, or that personal space differs depending where you are.

Very Easy!!!

Simple language made this book most readable to give us a, better understanding of life lived in the married and unmarried state.I usually do not go for the abridged versions of anything, however this book covers a very spiritual and deep theological topic in a very efficient manner.

Outstanding!!

Outstanding reference for rookie writers trying to grasp the intricacies of excellent writing techniques. The author clearly provides several applicable examples to enhance her premises. There's so much a new writer and plenty of experienced writers can gain from the knowledge shared in this book, from: better ways to begin sentences,

I enjoyed this book.

Very insightful and informative. It is a great start to empowering my knowledge of the human mind. Definitely will read again.I have found plenty of stellar tips on how to analyze and read people. Starting from psyhological approach and finishing with varios methods of analyzing someone based on his physical and social behavior. I think that the author could pay more attention to body language techniques but on the other hand there are plenty of other books on this topic.
