Amazing book, great take away points and lessons you can truly apply to your own life. What an inspiring writer - if everyone had the same determination as him, the world would be a very different place!

Good listen.

Good content. A little too much product promotion for me. I will use some of these tactics.

Great book, and performance by author

Better than the online content in my opinion. Great compliment to the other seal books like extreme ownership, and raising men. Pace at 1.15 was perfect for me and kept me engaged and interested.

Excellent

While many of the principles herein are available in various places - Mark’s way of placing them in a realistic way for achievement was excellent.

I look forward to utilizing the training of this book to push beyond my current goals.

Difinitive edition for me

I already own the previus editions of this book. What made me buy this one is that its read by the author himself. Even if the book turned out completly the same as the last version it would be still worth having just to hear Mark narrating his personal experience and thoughts. Luckily there is new content added as well so win win.

Lots of great nuggets! Recommend.

The only disappointment was the author’s weak “hooyah” at the end. Other than that, it was fantastic.

Too Much Info to Retain

The book really needed to come with a PDF file with all the lists and tools, I'm returning the Audible and purchasing the softcover.

Good content with lots of self promotion

The book is good, however much of the content borrows from others and rebrands with the word seal. I really like the meditation and exercises, however didnt like how the author seems to bolster his brand using people and examples of how his practice worked for them. In my experience, I prefer to be introduced to ideas and let me decide if they work. The paper book is better, and Mark might consider redoing the audio books similar to Gogins, almost like a podcast. Mark's pod cast is awesome. The follow on book to this is much more concise with content and the messages are better executed. Overall I really like the actual messages in place of the examples. For some reason I always hear good will hunting, "Mark has the same problem as Chad the stockbroker"..

Game Changer!

After listening to Mark Divine’s philosophy I was immediately drawn to his story and convictions. His book outlines his own personal experiences (failures & triumphs), and will help you cultivate a way of life that leads towards excellence and rewarding challenge.

I purchased some of his other books after reading The Way of the SEAL and have loved them. I am looking forward to one day grinding through his Kokoro camp!
