When you fear the unknown, when the shadow descends, when the darkness envelops you - think of Balls
The book they tried to stop, mainly for the reason that they thought it was too much for the great public to handle, and an absolute load of rubbish.
I am Harry Balls, renowned paranormal investigator with a difference. I investigate those cases too complex or too vague (mainly the latter) that other paranormal investigators simply won't touch with a barge pole.
Join me and my Office of Paranormal Studies licensed team on an epic adventure as we travel the country uncovering the mysteries you've definitely never heard about before. Together we will lift the lid on the supernatural, and then quickly close the lid again before weird things start coming out.
These mysteries range from mysterious home-helps to dubious ball pits, farting dogs, parish council conspiracies and even evil bingo dabbers. Live and breathe my journey with me as I explore these dark forces in the ‘Tales of the Unattested’ (hence the name of the book).
One thing is for certain, you'll never think about the paranormal and supernatural in the same way again.

Humourous collection of little tales.
Not really what I expected but a really nice selection of stories/investigation reports. Strangely I was left feeling that people like Mr Balls and his team really run a website of this type...I'm sure I've seen it online somewhere 😉

I thoroughly enjoyed the investigations. The humor is just right. The narrator masterfully held my interest and applied the correct amount of tongue in cheek inflection in his voice.
Bravo to Richard Denham and C.J. Grey.

A Nice Handful of, "Balls'," Cases.
Well, I laughed enough to cover costs. I can tell you that.
I don't know how you got here, but here you are... Looking into the casefiles of one Harry Balls.
So, let me ask you this: What if Charles Hoy Fort was really, really stupid? How about this: You know those lists on Youtube? 10 scary videos? Where, for every genuinely creepy video, two are obviously CGI and you're pretty sure that, "witch," somebody's drone filmed out in the woods was just some dude taking a leak? What if those fake videos had a dedicated believer willing to investigate them?
To be be clear: this is comedy. It is comprised of absurd little vignettes or, "Investigations," into the unseen world around us by a bit of a dunce who is far too ready to believe. The writing comes off a bit amateurish but, then, Harry is nothing if not an amateur.
So if you've ever wondered what it might look like if Dave Barry got hit on the head and wrote a series of paranormal columns, then look no further. I look forward to seeing what Richard Denham comes up with in the future.
Also of note: I enjoyed C.J. Grey's narration. He brings the proper amount of, "Mock," to this mockumentary.
