Excellent story and series
I have enjoyed all of the books in this series so far. This one drawing together threads from the previous books. A great craic altogether! Dark, sad, rich, intelligent, surprising and exploring all too true themes of abuse within the Catholic Church. Characters real and authentic for the era portrayed. Moving and well written. The audible versions, like listening to a gripping radio play. Excellent listen.

Fabulous crafted story
Artful, sensitive and gritty story based on historical reality of abuse in the Catholic Church. But intermingled with the joyous human spirit born out of poverty and and repression. The characters were amazing and you were drawn into the situation and story by the artful narration which was superb.

Captivating!
Thoroughly enjoyed this series, I wish it didn't have to end! You become part of the Street & it's people yourself. It would be lovely it it was made into a TV drama.

Absolutely brilliant!
All of the books in this Four Streets trilogy were brilliant. Tough topic so not for the light hearted but very very well done. Had me hooked from start to finish. The narration was also fabulously done.

Three Moving Books
The three books in this series were so well written and read that they held me spellbound from beginning to end. I hope the writer will give us more stories of this quality. I really did not want to finish. Congratulations to the writer and also the reader.

Another fine family sags of the Four Streets
Again we are taken to the Four Streets and catch up with the families who live there. This is the third in the series and does a nice job of concluding the various storylines from the first two books. It is well read by Emma, who does an excellent job of all the different voices so there is no confusing which character is speaking.
Very clever twists and turns throughout the three books and some good outcomes. I would have liked to see another chapter at the end rather than have all the endings related by a character who just spoke about all that had happened in one long speech! Was this another case of the agent wanting the author to meet a deadline instead of finish the book properly? Shame
