Great Tips for Vegetarians

What was one of the most memorable moments of Raising Vegetarian Children?

The recipes. We have tried most of them with my wife and they are so delicious and easy to prepare.

Which character – as performed by Lillie Ricciardi – was your favourite?

Lillie was just the narrator and this book was not fictional so the wasn't really any characters. However, the perfomance by Lillie was great with a smooth voice that made listening to be so enjoyable.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me happy for learning so much in such a small time,

Any additional comments?

This book covers the entire world of nutrition for all ages including babies and toddlers. We have been trying to become complete vegetarians with my wife and it have not being easy. However, this book have assisted us much. The book is packed with comprehensive tips that have been easy to apply. We also have a small kid and we had been wondering what to do about her. This book gave us an insight on making our own homemade food for our baby with all the required nutritional supplements. We have also been able to incorporate enough proteins, iron and nutrition in our diet and this has made our bodies to be healthier.

Being a vegetarian, Kate uses her experience and knowhow to give helpful advice. She also uses a simple language that can be easily understood by an average person-there are no nonsense jargons and technical terms. The books flows from chapter to chapter with ease and without losing the connection. We have learnt much with my wife and are already applying most of the things especially for our little baby. And the homemade recipes are so lovely, you have to try them! Highly recommend to all vegetarians.

Very good if u have a veggie family!

Any additional comments?

If you have a veggie family you will understand the struggles, both mentally and physically. Dealing with how your kids interact with the world and all the situations they will encounter is not easy...but this book made it SO much easier and enjoyable!

Vegetarianism is a wonderful thing. Embrace it.

Liked this!

If you could sum up Raising Vegetarian Children in three words, what would they be?

Helpful, real, genuine.

What does Lillie Ricciardi bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Umm dunno what this mean!

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

I doubt it would be a film ha!

Any additional comments?

I found this helpful. I have a 18 month old son and have been debating about the way to bring him up (as a vegetarian), both in terms of diets and how he approaches the subject at school and elsewhere. For such a short and cheap book I took a lot from this.

Great advice, really helpful for any vegetarian

Any additional comments?

FINALLY some great advice, which i really needed as I have a young family, bringing them up as vegetarians. Helped us deal with a lot of awkward subjects such as dealing with friends parties and other social occasions. Liked the narrators voice, very easy to follow.

Great advice!

What did you like most about Raising Vegetarian Children?

This audiobook gets straight to the point. It gave me all the information I needed and expected from it. I have to admit, I preferred this book to others of its type because it didn't go too far into medical lingo that most of us can barely understand. In my opinion, it gave just enough information about vital nutrients and focused more on what to actually feed my children.
