About this listen

Your child’s hyperactive mind is actually a blessing, not a curse. Here’s what you need to know….

One minute everything is good; your child is calm and focused. But then, in the blink of an eye, something changes—now they’re hysterical, screaming, and getting them to sit still for even half a second is suddenly impossible. Do you often sit there and worry about your child's temper, wishing there was something you could do to help them calm down a bit, but not knowing where to start? Is their frustration leaving you frustrated, causing you both to spiral out of control? You’re not alone.

There are over 6.4 million parents feeling exactly what you are feeling right now. With some deeper insight into what ADHD actually is and how it affects your child's brain, paired with a practical guide for how to effectively navigate this situation, you’ll soon find that your child's “problem” isn’t actually a problem at all.

In Parenting Strategies for Raising ADHD Children, you’ll discover:

  • How ADHD is affecting your child's brain chemistry, and why understanding this is the key to making the right decisions for them
  • The number one thing your child needs from you and how you can give it to them best
  • Why your child’s hyperactive mind is actually a good thing and what you can do to help them realize this
  • Effective strategies for teaching your child how to express their emotions in a way that you can actually understand
  • Why you shouldn't force your child to do things a certain way and how this will help them be more relaxed
  • A play-by-play action guide for helping your child navigate the difficult world of peer pressure
  • How to help your child overcome their limiting beliefs and begin to truly connect with the truth of who they are

Your child needs you to step in and help them understand who they truly are, and why their way of being isn’t actually a problem. More importantly, you also need to give yourself some much-needed breathing room and time for relaxation.

A great book with very useful insights for dealing with children with ADHD. People panic about behaviors they do not understand. This book help parents recognize, embrace and give these energy filled beauties a full, loving and positive place in the world physically and emotionally. The author demonstrates that simply understanding and being focused on how special these things are and embracing them instead of being fearful and stressing is the most positive way for both child and parent. Kids respond to their environment and to their parents so understanding how to be with them supporting and soothing will give them the tools they need to learn and grow into independent and responsible human beings. Educating ourselves about these gifted children will help us to see and focus on their strengths and their purpose. Tools and tips of
diet, exercise, meditation, communication, socialization, school, activities, calming skills, home care, self belief and confidence, independence, time management, supplements and much more is covered beautifully in this book. There is no excuse for ignorance when there is thorough information such as this is available. A great resource I highly recommend. 🌀💜💕

Not just ADHD parents should read this book. The author discusses ADHD in children while providing many useful tips that simplify life. The first step is accepting who you are. Of course, when we are unhappy with ourselves, we tend to criticize other people more. Living with parents who constantly nag you is not easy, as you well know. The second discusses the ideal daily timetable for children. Don't overburden your kid. Seemingly insignificant things can greatly impact an ADHD child's life. The child needs daily alone time, regular physical activity, and wholesome meals. The third is about ways of thinking. Kids can have stifling views. I place the greatest importance on these three items.

If you parent a child dealing with ADHD, you know how much more challenging it feels. Often, you wish you had a sort of manual. I feel like this book is that for me. I especially loved the attitude it reinforces; that even though your child is different, that's a beautiful thing. You get to be part of the process that molds them into wonderful adults. You can afford to embrace them.
