When I saw that Marian was narrating this, I thought oh, no! I’ve listened to many brilliant books let down by the writer believing they are the best one to narrate the story - usually, they’re not!
However, I was pleasantly surprised, and I really hope she continues to narrate her own books.

A fantastic, tender, touching and very funny book. Well worth the wait.

Takes a bit of getting used to all the characters but soon became engrossed in their lives. Adored Marian’s narration. Another great Marian Keyes novel

Amazing! Such an enjoyable read/listen. Very reminiscent of what I feel are the “glory” days of Rachel’s Holiday and Watermelon. Many happy afternoons lingering in the car listening to the end of a chapter. Thank you Marion, and there really was just the right amount of “ridin’”

I cannot rave about this book more! From the witty and touching storyline to the melodic tones of Marian herself I savoured every chapter and even enjoyed the end notes 😂! The sign of a great book is the sadness that engulfs you as you approach the end and I can honestly say I was both satisfied and sad! Brilliant!!!!

from the very start it was like having a friend tell you a story about people you don't know and now you want to know everything. So many dynamics and personalities and relatable moments. I loved the 17 hours of pure Keyes.

Possibly Marian’s finest book (though I suspect I have thought this at the end of all of them!). She manages the rare talent of mixing humour, social comment, reality in relationships and a bit of sex seamlessly. The eating disorder storyline was handled brilliantly. It is something that affects our family and I am grateful for her well researched insights.
My only complaint is that it is OVER! Bless you Marian and enormous thanks.

Brilliant book capturing the complexity of families. I loved the way it spoke from many of the families perspectives. It brought to life peoples motivations, weaknesses and strengths. I didn't want it to end but it felt right it did.
