Where does Wicked Cravings rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I really liked it - not as much as Feral Sins, Phoenix Pack but the characters are a spin off and its a good story
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I loved it when Jamie escaped and found herself with the help of the child which showed the true colours of another character.

These books are definitely of an ilk. If you enjoyed the first one then you will probably enjoy this one too. For me the female with a tortured wolf/male with a dominance problem dynamic with sex to match felt a bit tired and basic. However, I don't think I am the target audience. The reader does a good job of bringing the story to life.
What made the experience of listening to Wicked Cravings the most enjoyable?
THE STORY IT IS NOT A REALLY LONG STORY BUT IT IS FULL OF CHARACTERS FROM START TO FINNISH . YOU WOULD NOT GET THAT FROM READING A BOOK EXCEPT FROM IMAGINATION
What does Jill Redfield bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
JILL FILLS OUT A CHARACTER AND MAKES THEM COME TO LIFE
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I ACTUALLY LISTENED TO IT WHILE I WAS SHOPPING SO I THOUGHT IT WAS GOOD TO BE ABLE TO LISTEN TO MOST OF IT FOR A WHILE
Any additional comments?
I HAVE ALL OF THE SERIES SO FAR AND AM LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE BOOKS
glad i decided to purchase the first book as this is another great listen. about to purchase the next one. recommend if you like shifter novels. one of a few books that can make me laugh out loud
I loved the story as usual she's an awesome writer can't wait to listen to the next one :-)
It was ok, but again predictable like the first book. I won't be listening to the third book due to this.
Once again, Ms. Wright had my laughing so hard at work; I got questioning looks from my co workers. This book is hilarious. Jamie doesn’t have as big of a potty mouth as Taryn but that doesn’t make her any less funny. I like Jamie’s strength and courage and her struggles throughout the book, and Dante, WOW!!! He makes me wish to be wolf-shifter.
I love Jill Redfield as a narrator. She always gives the performance that little extra. Such as when a line says the character laughed, she actually says the line laughing. It’s that little extra that makes her reading very enjoyable.
*****This might be a spoiler, but if you read the first book you should be expecting this. The funniest scene in the book was when Taryn went into labor. I literally cried, I was laughing so hard. Thank you Ms. Wright.

I was bored by the booked, in spite of it's hot sex scenes. The format was predictable and followed the lines of book 1. I did love the narrator, though. I won't be continuing the series.

Again I start by saying you won't be disappointed with this author/ narrator combo! These books are worth it. I always get excited when I see a new release in this series. This book will suck you in from the start. There are secrets, action, passion, love, determination, bickering, humor, sex, danger....just make the purchase already!

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
So this is the second book in this series and though I really really wanted to like it, it fell short... by allot. I like the story line and the narrator but I got very tired of all the sex in this book. I understand having books with sex in it and I enjoy is as much as any romance reader but when there's just as many chapters with sex and dirty talk as actual story it gets old. I found myself more then once just skipping those sections completely. I think if you took out all the sex the book would would be less then half its original size. The whole book made me wish that the focus was on story and the personalities of the people then how good they were in bed. At the end of the book the conflict resolution and story growth made me more then a little sad. I hope Ms Write will write more but if her stories don't focus on the story I wont be getting more books from her. I want a good book. If I want crood sounding porn I'll go on the internet.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
That was it? Wheres the rest?
What about Jill Redfield’s performance did you like?
Very good narrator. Equally good with men and women. She went all in with her voices and made me feel connected with the character
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Wicked Cravings?
Almost half of the sex scenes. That may have knocked it down to only one or two dozen.
Any additional comments?
I liked the story. I really did. I would love to read more of her work but I don's want to have to listen to sex all the time. I also would have liked to see more focus on the plot the sex scenes because at the end they never really handled it correctly. I'd give her anther chance but not much more with out her improving,

If you like brilliantly written PNR's that are HOT then you just HAVE to get this hot listen.
It was so funny, hot, tender, frustrating, romantic, sexy and did I say hot? filled with great characters that all get involved in the hot love lives of two wereshifters who, despite their life long attraction, fight the mutual attraction between them until it ultimately leads to a 'no strings' hot sexual relationship that was enjoyable and just fine for both of them.... that is until one day their eyes met and a connection was undeniably made.
Worth a credit? Absolutely YES - it was all I expected and more, (should you have missed my other clues - it was hot) from the brilliant mind of SR and the characters and emotions were easily tackled and filled by the many voices of JR who shows just how a gifted narrator can make a really good book great.

A pretty gosh darn good follow on from the first book!!!! Again, so witty I got strange looks of askance from my hubby with all my giggling.
HOT HOT HOT scenes with a fantastic story line. Suzanne Wright is fast becoming another favourite author of mine.
I just hope more books come out quick as you please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Following on from Feral Sins, Wicked Cravings follows the beta of Phoenix Pack, Dante, and a new pack member Jamie. Jamie has a secret that she doesn't want to share with her new pack members and that is a big problem as Dante absolutely doesn't like secrets. You don't really need to read Feral Sins to understand what is going on here. (But, seriously, why wouldn't you?!) As noted by other reviewers, Jamie seems to have a personality very much like Taryn in the first book - her cheeky comments to other pack members seem to be stolen right out of Taryn's mouth - but I didn't feel that detracted too much from the story.
What really makes this book (and Feral Sins) is the narrator Jill Redfield. She is absolutely perfect for these books and I giggled in delight every time she read Dante cursing.
Worth a credit? Absolutely! However, because of the current price I kept my credit for more expensive offerings. Thoroughly recommended!

Is there anything you would change about this book?
Jaime is a just a washed out version of Taryn. Would have loved to see her have more personality and spirit like Taryn but be a strong woman of her own right. Also I think missed a lot of options by not using the sanctuary and her co-workers more. Had a hard time losing myself in this as it never really clicked.
The Narrator used the same voices for everyone so there was not distinction of who was speaking.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
Made Jaime a strong spirited woman, as Taryn is but not be "like" Taryn. Even the way she would occasionally talk to herself as a Taryn moment or smarting off with Greta. But it was a washed out version of Taryn. I missed her showing her strength and sticking to it.
What didn’t you like about Jill Redfield’s performance?
She uses the same voice, one for a man and one for a woman...so just by voice you have no idea who she is and there was no emotion in it.
Could you see Wicked Cravings being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
No, its to disjointed to be a movie.
Any additional comments?
Sad :( I absolutely loved Feral Sins and couldn't wait to read this and was a big let down. Hoping Nick and Chayla's story is better.

A great second book and no let down from the first (Feral Sins). Suzanne Wright continues with a good story line, fast action pace, and strong supporting characters. This is Dante's story and give a very in depth look at a Beta's role in a wolf pack. Something that is lacking in other books even if they do mention the Beta. It also explains a lot about the imprinting and what can happen if it goes wrong, which it did once to Dante. Jaime is the other lead character in this story and her story tells what can happen to a shifter that is traumatized early in life. Together they over come what happened in their pasts. There are a lot of funny scenes as well. I very much look forward to hearing the other pack members stories.
If you liked Thea Harrison's Elder Race series or Nalini Singh's Changeling series, then I think you will enjoy this series as well.

I was anxiously awaiting this release after reading Feral Sins. This book didn't disappoint, and although it had the same feel as Feral Sins (the female characters of each book were a lot alike in their personalities so some of the dialog, especially between Greta and the heroines of both books, could have been interchangable). Other than that, it was a completely different story and very entertaining (and funny). Jill Redfield does a great job with the narration and I would highly recommend this book. I didn't use a credit on the purchase because the price is worth buying it.
