Summary

When my parents were banished from Wolf City before I was born, I thought there was no way I would ever live in a pack again. Cuffed, with my shifter magic bound, I was forced to go to school with witches and vampires in order to keep my true nature from coming out.

Then I met him.

Sawyer Hudson.

The Alpha's son was visiting the Delphi College for Magically Banished Youth and spotted me. He took one look at me, and an hour later, I was being pulled out of school, taken into Wolf City and leaving my parents and everything I knew behind.

It's the Alpha's son's selection year, the year he must pick a mate, and every female aged 18-22 must be in attendance.

I've landed myself in the middle of Werewolf Bachelor, and just when I think I've got a handle on things, Sawyer releases my cuffs, unbinds my magic, and sees what I really am.

The problem is, I don't know what this creature is that I transform into. It's not an ordinary werewolf, that's for damn sure.

Junior Highish

This is supposed to be about adults, but reads like a junior high soap opera. The dialogue is juvenile, there's a lot of game playing, and the main character is a self-absorbed twit. I could not finish and would return, if I could. The reviews are misleading. If you enjoy a great character-driven story, with an original plot, look elsewhere. I don't recommend.

Frustrating

I really love the storyline. I'm really frustrated with the main character, not that this review will magically make her more intelligent and better at thinking on her feet but who knows! I'll feel better. Demi is slow, like really slow throughout the book. There are times where she's quiet when saying one thing could help the entire situation. She's a wolf with super senses and strength yet she topples off a cliff taking a picture. Yet she's fast and agile enough to catch bullets. It continues on into book 2 where she's still continuingly getting snuck up on by vampires and creatures when supposedly she has a super sense of smell and reflexes as fast as a vampire. She's a nitwit. There. I've said it.

One of the best shifter stories I've read!

Amazing characters, a store with twists & turns that keep you on your toes, and the narrator goes a great job! Hats off to the author for such a well done job! Highly recommend this series!

Unnecessary foul language

Other than for the language, this is a good story. The language is completely unnecessary.

Why

I am on second book. But why is a stronger woman with such a weenie??This is one I definitely wish was a love triangle so she can get away from this man that thinks he is all powerful when she is the stronger partner.p

love this

As always Leia Stone you have ripped my heart out and stomped on it. I listened to the audiobook book and read this, and Vanessa Moyen does an amazing job as always. This story will draw you in and before you know it, you have no more pages left. Well done Leia, well done

Loved this fresh take

This series is already addictive, loved the female lead! Actually didn’t love the main guy but I know many people will. Kind of hope there’s a new love interest in future series.

I hope the character continues to grow and become less dependent.

Already purchased the next in the series.

Great main character and a great concept!

I loved the concept of this story so much!! I freaking loved Demi, but she deserves better than Sawyer, he has done some pretty unforgivable things to her and yet she forgives him. But then he questions her loyalty, it’s ridiculous!! He has some major issues and I’d say he has some maturing to do if he wants to marry anyone.
But I still enjoyed Demi’s story and I’m going to read book two.

Love this story 💕

The storyline is juicy and enthralling! I've binged this book and I can't wait for more! The main character is well written and relatable in so many ways from her speech pattern, personality and style. The narrator is did a wonderful job with their interpretation of tone, pacing and emotional expression as well.
