This is my second shifter story it was amazingly written and narrated. Killian and Una are a great match and I love how their relationship impacted change within the pack. Una claimed the Alpha as her mate but he rejected her, She gets the bond removed and Killian finally realises that she is his mate and must accept that. They see her as weak because she has a bad leg but Una is a strong and stubborn woman. There is plenty of drama within this story, there were moments I laughed and moments I felt what Una had to put up with.

The Tyrant Alpha's Rejected Mate by Cate C. Wells is a shifter romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Paulina Lear and Liam Sanderson. This is the first book in The Five Packs series.

This is the second book of Cate's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Killian and Una. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait for the next book in the series The Heir Apparent's Rejected Mate to be released on audio so I can get Rosie and Cadoc's story.

Paulina and Liam did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like shifter romances or rejected mates romances.

I really enjoyed this angsty, humorous shifter romance. Una is Girl Goals, a secret lady boss helping her friends gain their independence. Killian took me a little time to warm up to, but the more he opened up the easier he was to fall for.

This is a bit of a slow burn read Killian really has to earn Una's trust after his brutal rejection. There are some steamy scenes and great banter, Una will not let him off easy.

The narrator's do a great job. As a personal preference I prefer Duet narration compared to the dual performed here, but overall the characters really do come to life. I listened at speed. 1.9×

Recommend this story, best to listen in order, Pack life is fraught with problems and being at the bottom of the pack doesn't help. Narrators great , highly recommend.

The Tyrant Alpha's Rejected Mate is a wonderfully written paranormal, rejected, fated-mate romance and a fantastic start to The Five Packs series. The storyline captured my attention from start to finish; a turbulent romance between an Alpha, Killian, and a late-bloomer wolf-shifter, Una. Their journey was tumultuous, angsty, hot, steamy, and wrapped in drama. The character development and plot are well integrated into the world-building. The Pack culture is misogynistic and frustrating but fits perfectly into the story. I'm definitely looking forward to the second instalment in the Five Packs series.

I really enjoyed Paulina Lear and Liam Sanderson's performances. They both did an excellent job with the narration. They captured the character's personalities and emotions, breathing life into them. Overall, Tyrant Alpha's Rejected Mate is aptly titled and was an enjoyable listen, one I'll recommend to all PNR enthusiasts.

Una is a female shifter who has not mated or shifter at the ripe old age of twenty seven. She is a leader of a group of lone female shifters who have not mated they are independent and have been earning their own money. Killian is the alpha who is convinced he has no mate so he is definitely surprised when Una claims him one night during dinner. What happens next is heartbreaking for Una she is rejected in the most embarrassing way. When Killian realizes how much he messed up in rejecting Una he has to do some serious begging and realize the way he has been ruling over his pack has been detrimental to the female members. Will he get Una to forgive him? The journey is amazing loved this book got lots of chuckles while listening.

If you like the rejected mates troupe you’ll enjoy this one. It’s not the typical rejected mates and it has a great twist on the story. I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend.
