In a delicious twist of fate, Lady Astrid and Sir Tamhas meet as strangers in the dark of night, beneath the boughs of an ancient pine. Theirs is a giddy yet passionate exchange that leaves the pair breathless and obsessed with discovering the other's true identity by the solemn light of day. But finding out who the other is will surely be torture, since each is already promised to another.
As with the other L.L. Muir books that I have listened to I found this one to be well crafted and highly enjoyable. Surprisingly l found that very little got lost when the tale was short. Vivid characters, locale and situations make this a good choice for a short escape.
NARRATOR: I quite like Heather wilds. Her delivery was flawless and "comfortable".
CREDITWORTHY? If you're foolish enough not to know the book COSTS less than a credit does then go for it. Otherwise be sensible and buy it, you won't regret it! (in my opinion....)
HEAT FACTOR : There isn't any heat but there are heartfelt Kisses ...
