Summary

Eric's grown more confident. He has to admit that. With Marcus's love and support, he's stronger than ever, but it's not enough. His daddy's given him the ability to go after what he wants, but there's so much more that feels just out of reach. Eric doesn't want part of the lifestyle or some of the submission...he wants everything.

For Marcus, there's nothing more beautiful than watching his boy's confidence grow. Marcus loves every step Eric has taken on his journey, but he doesn't want to push his boy too far, too fast. And when the only part of Marcus's future that's clear is Eric by his side, it's not fair to his boy to rush things. A daddy should be able to provide for his boy. A looming retirement and a questionable future aren't enough. Not when he wants to give his boy everything.

When it comes to their relationship, Eric is ready to jump in headfirst. But how does Eric show his daddy that everything doesn't have to be planned out to be perfect?

A wonderful continuation of Silent Strength

Eric and Marcus are continuing to live a happy life together whilst Marcus' retirement from the police force is looming closer, This causes a bit of worry for Marcus as to how he'll provide for his boy but Eric is worrying that his Daddy is taking on too much stress when he wants things to develop further for himself and Marcus in their personal relationship.
I'm loving this story and the development of the two main characters and their relationship together. M.A. Innes has a wonderful way of writing that draws you into the emotions felt by both characters and the relationship that the two have together may be different from what others expect but together they are wonderful. Written as they are made for each other! We are continually meeting people from characters from other books but if you haven't read them, it doesn't impact your enjoyment of this couple and their story.
Kenneth again does a fantastic job of narrating this story. I was pulled in from the start and enjoy the book throughout whilst we are carried along on the blossoming relationship of Eric and Marcus. I especially love the differential in voice for Eric when he's as his "regular" self and for when he's his Daddy's boy.
Another fantastic book from M.A. Innes and wonderfully narrated by Kenneth. Highly recommend!

Not a stand alone, but a great addition

It was so good to visit with the boys again! Once again, still not my kink, but I loved watching Eric fall into his little personality wi5 much more confidence!
There was some hot scenes! And I liked that some of them was just as a sub at the club, but still not making a Eric something he’s not! I really hope to see more of this couple!

Fantastic second book to the series.

I really enjoyed silent strength, the first book in this two book series and was anticipating the release of this audio. Kenneth didn’t disappoint. I love the collaboration between m.a.innes and Kenneth obi.

In this book Eric and Marcus continue to develop their relationship and Eric becomes more confident in being a little. There is age play with ABDL, along with some hot sex scenes. This is a really sweet story that I have enjoyed listening to with a perfect HEA.

Kenneth’s narration was spot on and brought this story to life, which is why I really like him as a narrator.

Nathan and Gabriel, from flawed perfection have great parts in this story, and we get to see Eric and Nathan develop their sweet friendship, although I don’t think Eric can cope with much more chocking following Nathan questions.

Not as good as the first

After enjoying the first one i was eager to listen to the next and finish the story however i was a little disappointed in it. I felt like there was too much time spent trying to re assure us about the nature of the relationship through out this book. But it really wasn't needed. That was covered in the first book, and it was done well enough that by the time we made it to this one the constant reassurance just became redundant and annoying. I as looking for move of the development between them and their lifestyle instead of them just telling me it was ok constantly. I did enjoy what parts of that i got however a lot and i just wish i had more of it.

Kenneth's narration continued to be great for these characters and I think he really captured them and brought them to life.
