The Definition of Slice of Life
Absolutely fantastic. The story is engaging and interesting. The characters are flawed but that just makes seeing them grow and evolve that much more rewarding. The story had stats but they were used more as a light guidance/addition to the world rather than being super heavy and confusing.
The narration was spot on. Jonathan was very good but Jessica was the star of the show with the two main female characters. Can not wait until the next one comes out!

Strong entry to a new series
Good: Its exacly what it says on the tin, a coasy fantasy slice of life book with a hevy emphasis on slice of life. The adults also felt like adults witch is a big +. I also enjoy the idea of bbeg quiting to be a farmer.
Bad: I felt that the pasing was a bit of.
Overall: If you like the idea of a slice of life that isn't focused on teenagers, or if you want a book that you can just experience, then you'll probably like this book. and I'm excited for the sequel.

I pre-ordered this book and don't regret it. its great, the story was fun, relaxing, the characters were wonderful, and the narrators never failed to deliver. Truly making this a new favourite of mine.

Very good slice of lite romance
Its just a really good slice of life romance between the two main characters taking place on a farm, with a bit of dark lord sprinkled in.
