A decent lit RPG with likeable characters. Looking forward to the sequel. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys fantasy/isekai.

Excellent performance, Decent Story

There is much to like about the Seventh Princess. If you like reincarnation stories it is definitely something to enjoy.

Whether we wish to talk about the morally realistic characters whom are not overwhelmingly obviously bad, or pure good.

The main character is not overwhelmingly powerful in the story and that definitely contributes to a sense of engagement with the story, though the usage and reaction to her earthly knowledge is somewhat suspect. For example, she is apparently the first person in the whole world she is in to have put edible things between two pieces of bread and eat it. And sometimes the narrator telling us how “no one else had ever thought of doing this” after every use of her knowledge is a bit tedious, but it is not sufficient to say it is necessarily fully grating as it isn’t too excessive.

The bigger flaw I found is that the story ends in a very unsatisfying place. She has escaped danger, yet the build up to this danger wasn’t really sufficient to be truly a conflict for the main character. The conflict feels like a confected side story that was added in to add tension and introduce “that element”, yet after it all ended I was confused as to the very little that was gained from the whole ending sequence as it was the final chapter of the series. I think that the sequence could have been better telegraphed, or foreshadowed, and a more satisfying conclusion reached but this is something that I think could have been done to better set up the subsequent book, and I think I’ll just have to enjoy the second book more to compensate.

Overall (TLDR) it’s good, read it.

It’s a good story told well, but ends unsatisfactorily

I have to say I find refreshing that there was two readers instead of one.

The magic system and aristocrat system

The story line was rather simple and easy to follow, and I rather enjoyed the plot, but the way that it was written was terrible. It kept going round and round in circles, repeating its self or backtracking. When it is describing someone they will always use the same descriptions-Matilda is the flaxen haired maid, Sofia is the black haired girl. It gets extremely annoying.
Also, whenever someone is saying something they have to say it in the longest and most elaborate way possible.
I’m honestly disappointed, like I said before the story was alright, but their use of language really ruined it for me.
I will be getting the next book bc I’ve gotten attached to it.
( I should probably work on that. )
But thanks for reading my review and sorry if it seemed too harsh.
