Summary
Cass is having a hard time since the night she saw the car in the woods and the woman who was killed. Since then she's been forgetting everything: where she left the car, if she took her pills, the alarm code, why she ordered a pram when she doesn't have a baby....
What she can't forget is the woman she might have saved, the terrible nagging guilt, the silent calls she's receiving and the feeling that someone's watching her.

Slow and repetitive
Well that is 9hrs of my life I will never get back. The story started off with so much promise and tension however that rapidly descended into a slow repetitive tale and for the next 12 chapters absolutely nothing happened! The middle section of the book was o.k but I feel cheated that the final reveal took place by a series of text messages over an hour in the last but one chapter. The whole thing was saved by a brilliant narration but the story it's self is terrible and an insult to people who really have EOD. Behind Closed Doors was very good but after this rubbish I will not be reading/listening to anything else by this author

Last few chapters
The last few chapters of this book really spoilt it for me... The neck and forth with the text messages to me, seemed a rather lazy writing style. All in all...A decent book but a little predicable

Wow what a roller coaster ride
Really enjoyed this audio book I read it in one sitting. I can't believe some reviews of this said that the ending Was poor. I am actually downloading an other book by the same author. The narrative was great which makes it more enjoyable. Will be looking for more new books by b a Paris.

Didn't want it to end!
This is the best book I have listened to since The Girl on the Train. I actually wish it was possible to 'unread' it so I could go back and experience it all again. The narrator was excellent, I just kept listening and listening. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed it
I loved BA Paris's last book, and although this one didn't have quite the same affect - I was still gripped throughout and enjoyed it until the end.

It Got Better
If i could have given half stars i would have given 3.5.
At times the story was a bit repetitive and I began to think of my next listen. But it has to be really bad for me to give up on a book and I'm glad I continued because it did get better and i enjoyed the ending.
This is the second book I've listened to by B A Paris now and I found I needed to have to stretch the imagination a lot to believe the story. But no matter, I suppose we don't have to be too pedantic sometimes we can just go with it and enjoy.

Mixed feelings
I liked the other book by Paris (Behind the closed doors). This one wasn't as good. I guessed the plot immediately and was listening mainly to check whether I guessed right. Too many clues
right from the beginning! At the same time, I enjoy the performance and the style, so I give it 4 stars...

Good potential but...
Very good beginning and end but middle part is extremely boring and annoying, I would not recommend this book

Brilliant
Loved this and brilliantly narrated. having enjoyed Behind Closed Doors I was keen to listen to this, although I guessed from the start what was going on, it didn't actually spoil my enjoyment of the book and as the last few chapters arrived I was spellbound. Another great psychological thriller, well crafted.
